Özet
Literatür taraması sonucunda, ziyaret fenomeni çerçevesinde türbe ziyaretleri üzerine birçok çalışma yapılmış olmasına rağmen, çalışmaların ekseriyetinin konunun dinî boyutuna ağırlık veren araştırmalar olduğu görülmüştür. Ekseriyetle ziyaret fenomeni çerçevesinde yapılan çalışmalarda, türbe ziyaretlerinde gerçekleştirilen inanç ve uygulamalar konusunun ele alındığı fark edilmiştir. Literatürde böyle bir eksikliğin varlığı ve bizim üzerinde çalışmayı hedeflediğimiz konunun sadece makale düzeyinde birkaç araştırmaya konu olması, böyle bir çalışmanın yapılmasının gerekli kıldığını düşünüyoruz. Çalışmanın amacı, insanlar tarafından kutsal olarak kabul edilen mekânın ve bu mekânda gerçekleştirilen ritüellerin toplumsal hafızanın oluşumuna katkısı ve bu oluşturulan hafızanın alan araştırması aşamasında belirlenmesinin tespiti amaçlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede toplumsal hafızanın oluşumunda kurucu unsurlardan olarak görebileceğimiz mekân ve ritüel kavramlarına değinilip, ziyaret fenomeninin muhtevasına içkin olan kutsallık, mit, menkâbe ve evliya inancı gibi kavramların hafıza kurucu yönüne odaklanmayı ve bunların toplumsal hafıza inşasındaki ilişkileri irdelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Siirt ili, Baykan ilçesine bağlı Ziyaret Beldesi'nde yer alan Veysel Karani Türbesi örneklemi çerçevesinden hareketle, ziyaret fenomeni çerçevesinde ziyaret edilen mekânın ve ziyaret edilen mekânda gerçekleştirilen ritüellerin toplumsal hafızanın oluşumuna ne derece katkı sağladığının ortaya çıkarılması hedeflenmiştir. Toplumsal hafızanın ziyaret edilen mekân ve mekânda gerçekleştirilen ritüeller ile arasındaki ilişkiye dikkat çekilmiştir.

As a result of the literature review, although many studies have been conducted on shrine visits within the framework of the visiting phenomenon, it has been found that the majority of these studies emphasize on the religious dimension of the subject. It has been noticed that mostly in the studies conducted within the framework of the visitation phenomenon, the issue of beliefs and practices performed during shrine visits has been addressed. The existence of such a deficiency in the literature and the fact that the topic we are aiming to study is only the subject of a few article-level studies, we think that it is necessary to conduct such a study. The aim of the study is to determine the contribution of the place considered sacred by people and the rituals performed in this place to the formation of social memory and to determine this created memory at the stage of field research. In this context, the concepts of space and ritual, which we can consider as one of the founding elements in the formation of social memory, are touched upon and the focus on the memory-forming aspect of concepts such as holiness, myth, menkâbe and evliya belief, which are inherent in the content of the phenomenon of visitation, and their relationships in the construction of social memory are examined. In this study, it is aimed to determine the extent to which the place visited within the framework of the visiting phenomenon and the rituals performed in the visited place contribute to the formation of social memory based on the sample of Veysel Karani Mausoleum located in the Visiting town of Baykan, Siirt province.
