Özet
Bu çalışma Kor bölgesi kas yorgunluğunun, diş hekimlerinde ince motor fonksiyonlara etkisini araştırmak amacı ile tasarlandı. Çalışmaya 46 diş hekimi dahil edildi. Katılımcılara ince motor fonksiyonları değerlendirmek için dokuz delikli peg (DDPT) testi ve PEBL isimli yazılımın DEXTERITY programı kullanılarak değerlendirme yapıldı. PEBL-DEXTERITY programında farklı titreşim seviyelerinde kayıt alınabilmektedir, bu çalışmada 7 farklı dirençte kayıt alındı. Ölçümler yorgunluk sonrası ve yorgunluk öncesi olmak üzere iki defa tekrarlandı. Yorgunluk açığa çıkarmak için kor enduransı değerlendirmede de kullanılan lateral köprü testi, Sorenson testi ve gövde fleksör endurans testinden oluşan bir protokol ikişer maksimum tekrar olarak uygulandı. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda kor kasları enduransı ile ince motor beceriler arasındaki ilişki de araştırıldı. Bulgulara göre kor enduransı ile yorgunluk protokolü öncesi yapılan ince motor değerlendirme testleri arasında korelasyon bulunmadı (p>0,05). Kor kas grubu yorgunluk protokolü öncesi ve sonrası dokuz delikli peg testi sonuçlarında anlamlı fark bulundu (p<0,05). PEBL-DEXTERITY toplam skorları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmadı (p>0,05). PEBL-DEXTERITY farklı seviye ölçümleri için yorgunluk öncesi ve sonrası değerlendirmede sadece 1. direnç seviyesinde anlamlı fark bulundu (p<0,05). Bu araştırmanın sonucuna göre diş hekimlerinde kor grubu kas yorgunluğunun ince motor beceriler üzerine etkilerinin, değerlendirmenin yapıldığı test ya da batarya tipine ve direnç seviyesine göre değişiklik gösterdiği, bazı ölçümlere göre yorgunluğun beceri hızı lehine etkili olduğu bazı ölçümlere göre ise etkisinin olmadığı görülmektedir.

This study was designed to investigate the effect of core muscle fatigue on fine motor function in dentists. 46 dentists were included in the study. For the assessment of participants' fine motor skills, two separate assessments were performed using the nine-hole peg test and software called PEBL DEXTERITY. In this study, seven different resistance levels were recorded and the data were analyzed by separating them according to the levels The assessments were repeated twice, after fatigue and after rest. A protocol consisting of three tests, namely the side bridge test, the Sorenson test and the trunk flexor endurance test, which is used to assess the endurance of the core muscles to reveal fatigue, was applied two maximum repetitions, while the muscular endurance of the central region was evaluated at the same time. As a result of the evaluations, the relationship between core muscle endurance and fine motor skills was also investigated. A significant difference was found at the 1th resistance levels for the relationship between PEBL-DEXTERITY and fatigue (p<0.05). According to the findings, no correlation was found between core endurance and fine motor functions (p>0.05). Considering the effect of core muscle group fatigue on fine motor skills, a significant difference was found in the relationship of the nine-hole peg test (p<0.05). In the relationship between PEBL-DEXTERITY and fatigue; no significant difference was found in the mean of the total scores (p>0.05). It is possible to record at different vibration levels in the PEBL program. The results of this study show that the effect of major muscle group fatigue on fine motor skills in dentists varies depending on the type of test or battery and the level of resistance. According to some measurements, fatigue favors dexterity speed.
