Özet

The penetration testing method considers a legal way to perform testing for an organization to discover the defects before any exploitation coming from the outsider to exploits it, as any exploitation leads to financial losses and blackmailing for any organization, for that the purpose of the penetration test is to make the systems more secure, the organization needs to penetrate the system to discover as possible vulnerabilities, after pen-testing a system, it is done with results and ideas to fix the defects if found. There are some types of Penetration testing it is all dependent on what an organization needs to know about their system either vulnerabilities or how the attackers can see their system, the organization can take help from technology companies for security purposes. In the penetration test and during the test, there are some steps, also there are various tools and techniques each step of these has it is own tools and techniques which make the systems meet the security measures to avoid the risk and disaster which happen from the attackers. This work focuses on the three most known penetration test techniques with the comparisons between them, Black-box, white-Box, and Gray-Box. Also, penetration test tools with the penetration testing phases, and efficient way for penetration testing.
