Özet
Bu araştırmada, ülkemizde görme engelliler ilkokullarında öğrenim gören görme engelli öğrencilerin eğitiminde karşılaşılan zorluklarla ilgili görme engelliler sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemleri desenlerinden biri olan durum çalışması ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma Konya Selçuklu Mediha Hasan Tahsin Alaylı Görme Engelliler İlkokulu'nda görev yapan 12 görme engelliler sınıf öğretmeni ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın verileri araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak oluşturulmuş yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde nitel veri analizi yaklaşımlarından içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda görme engelliler ilkokullarının fiziksel olarak yeterli olmadığı, araç gereçlerin temininde ve öğrencilere ulaştırılmasında sorunların yaşandığı, öğrenci velilerinin öğrencilerinin eğitimine yeterli düzeyde destek sağlayamadığı, pansiyonların kapatılmasının öğrencilerin eğitime erişimini zorlaştırdığı ve eğitimde fırsat eşitliğini olumsuz etkilediği, Braille alfabesi ile okuma yazma öğretiminde ve matematik öğretiminde sorunlar yaşandığı, görme engelliler ilkokullarına alan dışı öğretmenlerin atanabildiği bunun da öğrencilerin eğitimini olumsuz yönde etkilediği, az gören öğrencilerle total görme engelli öğrencilerin aynı sınıflarda eğitim görmelerinin yanlış bir uygulama olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Therefore, in this search, it is aimed to examine the opinions of the classroom teachers of the visually impaired regarding the difficulties encountered in the education of the visually impaired students studying in primary schools for the visually impaired in our country. This study was carried out with a case study, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The research was conducted with 12 classroom teachers for the visually impaired working in Konya Selçuklu MedihaHasan Tahsin Alaylı Primary School for the Visually Impaired. The data of the research was gained with a semi-structured interview form created in accordance with the purpose of the research. Content analysis, one of the qualitative data analysis approaches, was used in the analysis of the obtained data. At the end of the research, it is expected to reveal the difficulties encountered in the education of visually impaired students studying in primary schools for the visually impaired in our country. At the end of the study, primary schools for the visually impaired are not physically sufficient, there are problems in the supply of tools and transportation to the students, the parents of the students cannot provide sufficient support for the education of their students, there are problems in the teaching of literacy and mathematics with the Braille alphabet, and out-of-field teachers can be appointed to the primary schools for the visually impaired. It was concluded that it had a negativeimpact on education.
