Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı Cezayir 2 Üniversitesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü öğrencilerinin konuşma becerisindeki düzeylerini tespit etmek ve katılımcıların gelişim durumlarını beceriyi kazanma sürecini etkileyen bireysel ve çevresel faktörlerle birlikte değerlendirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada hem nicel hem de nitel verileri toplayıp değerlendirmeye imkân veren karma yöntem benimsenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Cezayir 2 Üniversitesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümünde, iki ve üçüncü sınıf düzeyinde öğrenim gören ve araştırmaya gönüllü katılım sağlayan 72 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın yapıldığı dönemde ilgili sınıflarda toplam 101 öğrencinin bulunduğu belirlenmiş ancak bu öğrencilerin sadece 72'si araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul etmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında nicel veriler bir sözlü anlatım görevi ve bilgi toplama formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Sözlü anlatım görevi değerlendirmek için geliştirilmiş olan dereceli puanlama anahtarı Nitel veriler ise öğrencilerin sözlü anlatım ürünlerinin ve bölümdeki eğitim ile ilgili dokümanların incelemesi ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Cezayir 2 Üniversitesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümünde öğrenim öğrencilerin sözlü anlatım düzeylerinin çoğunlukla orta olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin sözlü anlatım düzeylerinin kişisel faktöre bağlı olarak incelendiğinde farklılaşmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sözlü anlatım düzeylerini yabancı dillerde konuşmayı sevme, yabancı dillerde konuşma sıklığı, derslerde kullanılan kaynak ve materyaller konuşma becerisi geliştirmeye yardımcı olup olmama ve konuşma derslerinde kullanılan yöntem ve teknikler yeterli olup olmama değişkenlerine bağlı olarak incelendiğinde ise farklılaştığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca elde edilen dokümanların incelendiğinde bölümde yeni kayıtlı öğrenciler için bir hazırlık sınıfı olmadığı, konuşma derslerine ayrılan zamanın yetersiz olduğu ve derslerde kullanılan kitap seti dışında herhangi bir öğretim materyalin kullanılmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this research is to determine the speaking skills of the students of the University of Algeria 2, Department of Turkish Language and Literature and to determine the personal factors affecting the process of acquiring this skill as well as the factors related to the education given in this department. For this purpose, a mixed method was used by collecting both qualitative and quantitative data. The study group consists of the students of the second and third undergraduate grades who study in Algeria 2 under the department of Turkish Language and Literature for the academic year 2020-2021, who participated voluntarily for coducting this study. Within the scope of the research, data were collected from 72 active students of both second and third grades by using semi-structured interviews forum regarding the variables that could affect the oral expression performance of the students. 5 students were not included in the analysis due to their refusal to record. Qualitative data, on the other hand, were obtained by examining the students' oral expression tools and the programs related to the education in the department. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the 'oral expression levels' of the students of Algeria 2 studying in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature are mostly medium. As for the 'verbal expression levels' of the students who were examined depending on personal factors, it was concluded that there was no difference. However, when the students' speech is examined depending on the following four variables 'liking to speak in foreign languages', 'the frequency of speaking in a foreign language' 'whether the resources and materials used in the lessons help to develop speaking skills', and 'whether the methods and techniques used in the speaking lessons are sufficient or not', it was found diffrent. In addition, when the obtained programs were examined, it was determined that there was no a preparatory class for newly registered students in the department, the allocated time for speaking lessons was insufficient, and no teaching materials other than a set of Books of the Seven Climate Turkish were used.
