Özet

“Öğretmen ve Veli Görüşlerine Göre KKTC'de Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Dersi”adlı bu çalışmada, KKTC'de örgün din eğitiminde önemli bir yere sahip olan DKAB dersi hakkında öğretmen ve veli algılarının keşfedilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Öğretmen ve veli görüşlerinin incelenmesi adına bir alan araştırması olan bu çalışma giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında araştırmanın problemi, amacı, önemi, kapsamı, sınırlılıkları ve konuyla ilgili araştırmalara yer verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Osmanlı idaresinden Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtına kadar (1571-1974) Kıbrıs'taki tarihi süreç hakkında genel bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Bölümde ayrıca tarihi süreç içerisinde eğitim ve din eğitimi faaliyetlerinin durumu ve değişen yönetimlerin eğitim ve din eğitimine etkisini görmek adına Osmanlı döneminden günümüze kadar (1571-2022) Kıbrıs'ta eğitim ve din eğitimine yönelik gelişmeler incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise araştırmanın yöntemi hakkında bilgiler verilmiş, veri toplama ve analiz yöntemleri tanıtılarak araştırma süreci hakkında açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın üçüncü bölümünde ise öğretmen ve velilerden elde edilen verilerin analizleri yapılarak araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara, bulguların yorumlanmasına ve tartışmaya yer verilmiştir. Tartışma kısmında bulguların karşılaştırılması yapılarak elde edilen veriler alanda yapılan benzer çalışmalarla ilişkilendirilmiştir. Sonuç ve öneriler kısmında ise araştırmanın tartışma kısmında elde edilen sonuçlar araştırma soruları çerçevesince değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma nitel ve nicel araştırma yöntemlerinin bir arada kullanıldığı karma desen esas alınarak hazırlanmış, araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak mülakat ve anket tekniklerinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında KKTC'de DKAB dersi öğretmenleri ve devlete bağlı ortaokullarda öğrencileri bulunan veliler oluşturmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda KKTC'de DKAB dersleriyle ilgili yasal statü, ders öğretmeni ve ders kitaplarından kaynaklanan birtakım problemlerin olduğu görülmüştür. Dolayısıyla KKTC'de DKAB dersinin toplumun ihtiyacına yönelik olmadığı, DKAB öğretim programının geliştirilmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, named“Response Lesson in TRNC According to the Opinions of Teachers and Parents”, it is aimed to explore the perceptions of teachers and parents about the Religion Culture And Moral course, which has an important place in formal religious education in the TRNC. This study, which is a field study in order to examine the opinions of teachers and parents, consists of an introduction and three parts. In the introduction part, the problem, purpose, importance, scope, limitations of the research and related researches are given. In the first part, general information about the historical process in Cyprus from the Ottoman administration to the Cyprus Peace Operation (1571-1974) is given. In addition, the developments in education and religious education in Cyprus from the Ottoman period to the present (1571-2022) were examined in order to see the status of education and religious education activities in the historical process and the effects of changing administrations on education and religious education. In the second part, information about the research method was given, data collection and analysis methods were introduced and explanations were made about the research process. In the third part of the research, the data obtained from the teachers and parents were analyzed and the findings obtained in the research, the interpretation of the findings and the discussion were included. In the discussion part, the findings were compared and the data obtained were associated with similar studies in the field. In the conclusion and suggestions part, the results obtained in the discussion part of the research were evaluated within the framework of the research questions. This study was prepared on the basis of a mixed design in which qualitative and quantitative research methods were used together, and interview and survey techniques were used as data collection tools in the research. The study group of the research consisted of religion culture and moral course teachers and parents with students in state secondary schools in the 2020-2021 academic year. As a result of the research, it has been seen that there are some problems related to the legal status, course teachers and textbooks related to religion culture and moral courses in TRNC. Therefore, it has been concluded that the religion culture and moral course in the TRNC is not oriented towards the needs of the society and that the religion culture and moral curriculum should be developed.
