Özet

Kur'an-ı Kerim tefsirinin en önemli hususlarından biri kullanılan kaynakların çeşitliliği olmuştur. Kur'an'ın Kur'an ve sünnet dışındaki kaynaklar ile tefsir edilmesi durumu, müfessirler arasında ilk dönemlerden günümüze kadar farklı fikir ve tutumları beraberinde getirmiştir. Yahudi ve Hristiyanlar'a ait olduğu bilinmekle birlikte kaynağı ve doğruluğu tespit edilemeyen, etkileşim ve rivayet yoluyla tefsire dahil olan ve çalışmamızda“Ehl-i kitap kaynakları”şeklinde ifade edeceğimiz bu kaynaklar, son dönem tefsirlerine gelinceye kadar bir yandan sert eleştirilere maruz kalmış, bir yandan da çokça kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Dönemin müfessirlerinin Kur'an'a, tefsire, hadise, tarihe ve bilgiye bakış açılarının değişimi ve ayetlerin içerdiği konuya göre sergiledikleri bu farklı tutumlar, Ehl-i kitap kaynaklarının tefsirde kullanılması durumunu adeta bir problematiğe dönüştürmüştür. Çalışmamız mütekaddimin, müteahhirin ve son dönem müfessirlerinin Ehl-i kitap bilgilerine bakışını, değişimin olası sebeplerini ve konularına göre bazı örnekleri içermektedir.

One of the most important aspects of the interpretation of the Qur'an has been the diversity of the sources used. The situation of interpreting the Qur'an with sources other than the Qur'an and the Sunnah has brought different ideas and attitudes among the commentators from the first periods to the present. These sources, which are known to belong to Jews and Christians, whose source and accuracy cannot be determined, which are included in tafsir through interaction and narration, and which we will refer to as“resources of the People of the Book”in our study, have been subjected to harsh criticism until the last period of tafsir. On the other hand, it has been seen that it is used a lot. The change in the perspectives of the commentators of the period on the Qur'an, tafsir, events, history and knowledge, and these different attitudes according to the subject of the verses, turned the situation of using the sources of the People of the Book in tafsir into a problem. Our study includes the viewpoint of the later, the contractor and the last period commentators on the knowledge of the People of the Book, the possible reasons for the change and some examples according to their subjects
