Özet
Tarihsel süreç içinde insanoğlu birçok salgınla yüzleşmiş ve bunun sonucunda yaşam tarzlarını, kentlerini ve yaşam alanlarını değiştirmek zorunda kalmıştır. Günümüzde yaşanılan Covid-19 pandemisi de sosya-mekansal ve mimari değişimlere yol açmıştır ve açmaktadır. Tez kapsamında bu değişim konut bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Covid-19 pandemisiyle birlikte alınan önlemler, mimarlık alanında sosyal mesafe, kişisel mekan, mahremiyet, kullanıcı memnuniyeti gibi farklı kavramların tekrar sorgulanmasına yol açmıştır. Konutun pandemi döneminde doğan yeni ihtiyaçları karşılayamamasının gözlemlenmesi; tezin temel araştırma problemini oluşturmuştur. Tez sonucunda, Covid-19 pandemisinin konut mimarisine öğretileri hem kavramsal hem işlevsel anlamda ortaya konmuştur. Beş bölümden oluşan tezin birinci bölümünde; konunun önemine, alanyazınına katkısına, tezin kapsamına ve amacına değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde; belirlenen üç anahtar kelime olan; çevresel psikoloji, salgın ve konut irdelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; araştırmanın materyal ve yöntemine ilişkin bilgiler verilmiştir. Araştırmanın materyal ve yöntem kısmında, tez gelişim süreci ve yapılan ''Pandemi Sürecinde Evdeki Değişim'' adlı anket çalışmasının nasıl oluşturulduğu anlatılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, araştırma bulguları aktarılmıştır. Pandemi sonrası kullanıcının eve yüklediği anlam, karantina sürecinde konut alanlarında doğan yeni ihtiyaçlar, bu yeni ihtiyaçlara göre evde yapılan düzenlemeler ve konutta mahremiyet ve memnuniyetin hangi faktörlere bağlı olarak azaldığı ortaya konulmuştur. Son bölümde ise, çalışmanın bütününe yönelik değerlendirmeler yapılmış ve pandemi koşullarına uyumlu konut tasarımı ile ilgili önerilere yer verilmiştir.

In the historical process, humans have faced many epidemics and as a result, they have had to change their lifestyles, cities and living spaces. Covid-19 pandemic has also led to socio-spatial and architectural changes. Within the scope of the thesis, this change is discussed in the context of housing. The precautions taken with the Covid-19 pandemic have led to the questioning of different concepts such as social distance, personal space, privacy and user satisfaction in the field of architecture. Observing the housing's inability to meet new needs arising during the pandemic period; constituted the main research problem of the thesis. As a result of the thesis, the teachings of the Covid-19 pandemic on residential architecture have been revealed both conceptually and functionally. The study consists of five sections. In the first section; the importance of the subject, its contribution to the literature, the scope and purpose of the thesis are mentioned. In the second part, the three main topics related to this subject are examined: environmental psychology, epidemic and housing. In the third part, information about the material and method of the research are explained. In this section, the thesis development process and formation of the survey study which has the title of“Change in the House During the Pandemic”are mentioned. In the fourth chapter, the research findings are presented. The meaning attributed to home during the pandemic process, new needs arising in housing areas during the quarantine period, arrangements made at home according to these new needs and the factors that decrease privacy and satisfaction in housing are revealed. In the last part, the evaluations for the whole study are discussed. Recommendations on housing design for the pandemic are also included.
