Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrendiğini anlat (teach-back) yöntemi kullanılarak verilen emzirme eğitiminin annelerin emzirme başarısı ve emzirme öz yeterliliğine etkisinin değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma, randomize kontrollü deneysel tasarımda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma Çorlu Devlet Hastanesi Kadın hastalıkları ve doğum servisinde 1 Mart -7 Ağustos 2022 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya, deney ve kontrol grubunda 50'şer olmak üzere toplam 100 lohusa dahil edilmiştir. Deney grubuna öğrendiğini anlat yöntemi, kontrol grubuna standart eğitim yöntemi kullanılarak emzirme eğitimi verilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu, LATCH Emzirme Tanılama ve Değerlendirme Ölçeği, Postpartum Emzirme Öz-yeterlilik Ölçeği kısa formu, Öğrendiğini anlat (Teach-Back) gözlemleme aracı kullanılmıştır. Veriler doğum sonrası ilk 24-48 saat arası ve 1. Ay kontrolleri sırasında toplanmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilirken, istatistiksel analizler için SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) sürüm 25.0 (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY, USA) programı kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya dahil olan katılımcıların sosyodemografik özellikleri deney ve kontrol gruplarına homojen bir dağılım göstermektedir(p>0,05). Eğitim öncesi yapılan ölçümlerde araştırma grupları(deney ve kontrol) arasında EÖYÖ ve LATCH puan ortalamalarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılık saptanmadı(p>0,05). Eğitim sonrası 24. saat ve 1. ayda yapılan ölçümlerde EÖYÖ puan ortalamasının, 1.ayda ise LATCH puan ortalamasının deney grubunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede daha yüksek olduğu saptandı (p

Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of breastfeeding education given using teach-back method on breastfeeding success and breastfeeding self-efficacy of mothers. Materials and Methods: The research was carried out in a randomized controlled experimental design. The study was carried out in Çorlu State Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Service between March 1 and August 7, 2022. A total of 100 puerperant women, 50 in each of the experimental and control groups, were included in the study. Breastfeeding education was given to the experimental group using the tell what you learned method and the control group using the standard education method. Personal Information Form, LATCH Breastfeeding Diagnosis and Evaluation Scale, Post-partum Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale short form, Teach-Back observation tool were used as data collection tools in the study. Data were collected between the first 24-48 hours after birth and during the 1st month follow-ups. While evaluating the findings of the study, SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 25.0 (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY, USA) program was used for statistical analysis. Results: The sociodemographic characteristics of the participants included in the study show a homogeneous distribution between the experimental and control groups (p>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the research groups (experimental and control) in the pre-educational measurements in the mean scores of ETWS and LATCH (p>0.05).
