Business expansion is the prime objective of competitive firms to achieve more market share and brand value. When firms move globally, they have to face various challenges and restrictions from the different environment. This study has developed to understand these challenges and the competitive advantage of business expansion. Underlying study is concerning with critical assessment of the factors that play a significant role in the international market in business context. Companies are expanding their business to be global so that they can get more profit using a competitive edge. Company experiences in the international market are shared in this study. The study is based on secondary data which developed from using authentic data sources. International trade is effective for business to compete in the global market but assessing the factors that contribute to success gives more clarity of business. Literature part of this study is associated with various international theory and models. Uppsala model of international trade has been reviewed to understand the globalization and its competitive benefit for firms. Research method comprises various tools and techniques which is used in this study. Research philosophy includes interpretivism and realism along with the inductive approach. This study is based on secondary data which was collected using authentic data sources. Data analysis tools, such as graphs and table, have been used for interpreting the result. It has been concluded that internationalization gives a competitive advantage for the firm but also increased the cost of the transaction of resources. It is suggested that the proper implementation of business strategies gives business chances to get a positive result to expand the business.
