Özet
Evlilik hoşnutsuzluğu, evli çiftlerin birbirinden uzaklaşması veya birbirine yabancılaşması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Merhamet korkusu ise bireylerin, kendine ve başkalarına merhamet göstermekten ve başkalarının kendine merhamet göstermesinden kaçınmasını ifade etmektedir. Bu bağlamda, bu çalışmada evli bireylerin evlilik hoşnutsuzluğu ve merhamet korkusu arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırma 18-66 yaş aralığında, 215'i kadın ve 185'i erkek toplam 400 evli katılımcı ile yapılmış olup katılımcılara“Kişisel bilgi formu”,“Evlilik Hoşnutsuzluğu Ölçeği”ve“Merhamet Korkusu Ölçeği”uygulanmıştır. Evlilik hoşnutsuzluğu ve merhamet korkusu arasındaki ilişkinin tespitinde Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyonu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde cinsiyet, aylık gelir, evlilik şekli için Bağımsız Örneklemler T-Testi; yaş, eşin yaşı, çocuk sayısı, eğitim durumu ve evlilik süresi için Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, evlilik hoşnutsuzluğu ve merhamet korkusu arasında pozitif yönde ve düşük düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Evlilik hoşnutsuzluğu düzeyinde yaşa, eşin yaşına, cinsiyete, çocuk sayısına, aylık gelirine, eğitim durumuna, evlilik şekline ve evlilik süresine göre farklılaşma olup olmadığı ve merhamet korkusu düzeyinde cinsiyete, yaşa, eşin yaşına, çocuk sayısına, aylık gelirine, eğitim durumuna, evlilik şekline ve evlilik süresine göre farklılaşma olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Evlilik hoşnutsuzluğu düzeyinde cinsiyete, yaşa, eşin yaşına, çocuk sayısına ve evlilik süresine göre anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Merhamet korkusu düzeyinde evlilik şekline göre anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Bulgular sonuç bölümünde incelenmiştir.

Marital disaffection is the separation or alienation of married couples from each other. Fear of compassion refers to individuals' refraining from showing compassion to themselves and others and from others showing compassion to themselves. In this study, the relationship between marital disaffection and fear of compassion was examined. The research was conducted with 400 married participants, 215 of whom were women and 185 were men, between the ages of 18-66, and the“Personal Information Form”,“Marital Disaffection Scale”and“Fear of Compassion Scale”were applied to the participants. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation was used to determine the relationship between marital disaffection and fear of compassion. In the analysis, Independent Samples T-Test was used for gender, monthly income, type of marriage, and a One-Way Analysis of Variance was used for age, spouse's age, number of children, educational status, and duration of the marriage. As a result, a positive and low-level significant relationship was found between marital disaffection and fear of compassion. It was examined whether there is a difference in the level of marital disaffection according to gender, age, spouse's age, number of children, monthly income, educational status, marriage type, and duration of marriage. It was examined whether there is a difference in the level of fear of compassion according to gender, age, spouse's age, number of children, monthly income, educational status, marriage type, and duration of marriage. A significant difference was found in the level of marital disaffection according to gender, age, spouse's age, number of children, and duration of marriage. A significant difference was found in the level of fear of compassion according to the type of marriage. The findings were examined in the conclusion section.
