Özet
Bu çalışmada turizm eğitimi için önemli bir yer teşkil eden mesleki turizm eğitimi alan lise öğrencilerinin turizm sektörüne bakış açılarına yönelik görüşlerinin olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Turizm yoğun bir sektör olduğu için hizmet sunanların kalitesi ve özellikleri sektörün gelişimini doğrudan etkilemektedir. Sektörde hizmet kalitesi, çalışanların eğitimi artırılarak artırılabilir. Meslek yüksekokulları Türkiye'de turizm eğitiminin ilk temelini oluşturması nedeniyle oldukça önemlidir. Meslek yüksekokullarının yetersizliği bir sorundur. Türkiye'de örgün turizm eğitimi Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından onaylanan ortaokullarda başlamaktadır ve bu durum gelecekte turizm sektöründeki personel üzerinde olumsuz etki yaratacaktır. Bu nedenle turizm meslek liselerinde uygulanan beceri eğitimleri öğrencilerin turizm sektörünü anlamalarını etkilemektedir. Araştırmada veriler anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 22.0 istatistik programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmadan şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: Konaklama ve seyahat hizmetleri bölümünde okuyan öğrencilerin beceri eğitimine İlişkin görüşlerin genel boyutlarına ilişkin görüşleri, yiyecek-içecek hizmetleri bölümünde okuyan öğrencilere göre daha olumludur. 12. sınıf öğrencileri en olumlu görüşlere sahipken, 11. sınıf öğrencilerinin diğer sınıflardaki öğrencilere göre olumsuz görüşleri dikkat çekti. Buna göre bölümü gönüllü olarak seçen öğrencilerin ailelerinin isteği ile bölümü seçen öğrencilere göre mezun olduktan sonra turizm sektörü hakkında daha olumlu düşündükleri, kız ve erkek öğrencilerin benzer görüşlere sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. In this study, it is aimed to determine the positive and negative effects of the opinions of high school students who have vocational tourism education, which constitutes an important place for tourism education, on their perspectives on the tourism sector. Because tourism is an intensive sector, the quality and characteristics of service providers directly affect the development of the sector. The quality of service in the sector can be improved by increasing the training of employees. Vocational schools is very important because it forms the first basis of tourism education in Turkey. Inadequacy of vocational schools is a problem. In Turkey, formal tourism education starts at secondary schools approved by Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, and this situation will have a negative impact on the personnel in the tourism sector in the future. Therefore, the skills training implemented in tourism vocational high schools affects students' understanding of the tourism sector. The data in the study were collected by questionnaire method. The data obtained in the research were evaluated in computer environment through SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The following results were obtained from the research: Students studying in the department of accommodation and travel services have more positive views on the General dimensions of Opinions on Skills Education than students in the department of food and beverage services. While the 12th grade students had the most positive opinions, the 11th grade students' negative opinions compared to the students in the other classes attracted attention. According to this, it was determined that the students who chose the department voluntarily thought more positively about the tourism sector after graduation than the students who chose the department at the request of their families, and that the female and male students had similar views.
