Özet
“Çağdaş Heykel Sanatında Beden Deformasyonu”isimli bu tez çalışmasında insanın var olduğu ilk günden bugüne keşfedilmeye ve anlamlandırılmaya çalışılan, somut-algılanabilir ve denenebilir yönüyle araştırmaya açık beden kavramının form üzerinde deformasyona uğrama biçimleri ele alınmıştır. Beden tarifinde form üzerinde uygulanan deformasyon, günümüz insanının beden değerlendirmeleri ve bedeni kullanma biçimlerine ışık tutarak sanatsal üretimin düşünce ve algılama biçimleriyle olan ilişkisini ve buna bağlı olarak formun dönüşümünü ortaya koymuştur. Tez çalışmasında çağdaş heykel sanatında beden formu üzerinde uygulanan deformasyon biçimleri dönemlere ayrılarak kronolojik bir sıralama ölçütüyle aktarılmıştır. Bundan önce felsefe, sosyoloji, antropoloji gibi disiplinlerin beden tanımlamalarına yer verilerek farklı kuramlar aracılığıyla beden kavramına yaklaşım biçimleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın zeminini oluşturan bu bölümün ardından sanatta beden imgesinin konumu ve heykel sanatında bedenin deforme ediliş biçimleri araştırılmıştır. Literatür taramasına başvurularak yapılan bu çalışmada çağdaş sanat kapsamında farklı sanatçıların eserleri örneklendirilerek heykel sanatının gelişimi, beden formunun dönüşümü ve çağdaş heykel sanatında beden deformasyonun işleniş biçimleri incelenmiştir.

In this study titled“Body Deformation in the Art of Contemporary Sculpture,”the various forms of deformation on the concept of the body, which is open to research with its concrete perceptible and attemptable aspect, which has been tried to be discovered and interpreted from the first day of human existence, are discussed. The deformation applied on the form in the description of the body sheds light on the body evaluations and ways of using the body of today's people, revealing the relationship of artistic production with the way of thinking and perception, and accordingly the transformation of the form. In the study, the deformation forms applied on the body form in the art of contemporary sculpture were divided into periods and transferred in a chronological ordering criterion. Before that, the body definitions of disciplines such as philosophy, sociology and anthropology were included and the approaches to the concept of body were examined through different theories. After this part, which forms the basis of the study, the position of the body image in art and the ways of deformation of the body in the art of sculpture have been investigated. In this study, which was made by referring to the literature review, the development of the art of sculpture, the transformation of the body form and the processing of body deformation in contemporary sculpture art were examined by exemplifying the works of different artists within the scope of contemporary art.
