Özet
Turizm sektörü, ülkeler için büyük ekonomik gelir kaynağı olan sektörlerden biri olarak bilinmektedir. Turistik destinasyonların gün geçtikce daha da tanınması ve turistlerin bu destinasyonlara yoğun ilgisi, ekonominin gelişimine büyük katkı sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca bu katkı yerel halkın ve iştletmelerin de gelişimini olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. Dolayısıyla insanların yaşam şartları da iyi yönde gelişmektedir. Bu katkının her yıl olması için sürdürülebilir bir turizm uygulamalarının benimsenmesi gerekmektedir. Sürdürülebilirlik kavramının da en büyük örneği olarak Sakin Şehir hareketi mevcuttur. Hareket'in temeli sürdürülebilirlik olduğu için, bu uygulama turizm sektörünün sürdürülebilir gelişimine ve aynı zamanda turistik destinasyonların sürdürülebilir bir şekilde gelişimine destek vermektedir. Bu tez çalışması Azerbaycan`ın Sakin Şehir Hareketi'ne üyelik potansiyelinin araştırılması amacını taşımaktadır. Literatürde bu konu ile ilgili herhangi bir çalışmanın olmaması nedeniyle bu çalışma literatürdeki bu eksikliğin giderilmesi bakımından önem arz etmektedir.

The tourism sector is known as one of the sectors that are a major source of economic income for countries. Increasing recognition of tourist destinations and the intense interest of tourists in these destinations contributes greatly to the development of the economy. This contribution not only contributes to the development of the economy, but also has its own effect on the development of local people and businesses. This effect greatly contributes to the development of people's living conditions. For this contribution to be made every year, it is necessary to have a sustainable tourism example. The Slow City (Cittaslow) movement is shown as the biggest example of the concept of sustainability. As the basis of the movement is sustainability, the movement supports the sustainable development of the tourism sector and at the same time the sustainable development of tourist destinations. The purpose of the study is to investigate the potential of Azerbaijan for action. At the same time, the absence of any study under this topic in the literature of Azerbaijan will contribute greatly to filling the gap in the literature.
