Özet
Günümüzde artan çevresel felaketlerin etkisiyle, standart kalkınma anlayışı eleştirilmeye, sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya uygun yeni bir modele ihtiyaç olduğu gerçeğiyle yüzleşilmeye başlanmıştır. Giderek artan nüfusa karşın, doğal kaynakların bilinçsizce kullanılması, kirletilmesi veya yok edilmesi“sürdürülebilirlik”kavramının önemini anlamamızı sağlamıştır. Sürdürülebilirliğin, bireysel ve toplumsal bir sorumluluk olarak benimsenmesi, üretim ve tüketim yöntemlerinin insana yakışır bir hal alması için gereklidir. Bu sorumluluk bilincinin oluşmasıyla, ekolojik dengenin korunması amacıyla pek çok sektör, üretim yöntemlerinde çeşitli inovatif çözümler geliştirmeye önem vermektedir. Neticede, dünya genelinde sürdürülebilirlik amacı doğrultusunda inovasyonun araç olarak kullanılması gerektiği fark edilmiştir. Yaşanan sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik tehditler sonucu insanların temel ihtiyacı olan gıda sektörü de bu eksende değişiklik yaşamaktadır. Bugün, kalkınmanın sürmesi için tarımda inovasyonun gerekli olduğu pek çok ülke tarafından daha net bir şekilde algılanmakta ve bu doğrultuda çeşitli uygulamalar gerçekleştirilmektedir. Tarımda inovasyonun sürdürülebilir kalkınmada üstlendiği rol günümüz sorunlarına cevap arayışında önemlidir. Sürdürülebilir kalkınma için sürdürülebilir tarımın hayati olduğunun anlaşılması üzerine, tarımda inovasyon faaliyetlerinin gerekliliği de anlaşılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, sürdürülebilir kalkınma anlayışı üzerinden yeşil ekonomik dönüşümün oluşum süreci açıklanacak, ardından bu süreçte tarım sektöründe inovasyonun yeri ve işlevinden söz edilecektir. Çalışma kapsamında dünyada tarımda ileri ülkelerin, tarım sektöründeki Ar-Ge faaliyetleri ve tarımda inovasyon tecrübeleri incelenecek, Türkiye'nin tarım sektöründeki mevcut durumu ve potansiyeli analiz edilerek karşılaştırma yapılacaktır.

Today, with the effect of increasing environmental disasters, the Standard understanding of growth and development has begun to be criticized and faced with the fact that a new model suitable for sustainable development is needed. Despite the growing population, the unconscious use, pollution or destruction of natural resources has allowed us to understand the importance of the concept of“sustainability”. The adoption of sustainability as an individual and social responsibility is necessary for the production and consumption methods to become decent. With this awareness of responsibility, many sectors attach importance to include various innovative solutions in their production methods in order to protect the ecological balance. As a result, it has been realized that innovation should be used as a tool for the purpose of sustainability in the world. As a result of the social, environmental and economic threats experienced, the food sector, which is the main need of people, is also experiencing changes on this axis. Today, many countries perceive more clearly that innovation in agriculture is necessary for the continuation of development, and various practices are carried out in this direction. The role of innovation in agriculture in sustainable development is important in the search for answers to today's problems. As it is understood that sustainable agriculture is vital for sustainable development, the necessity of innovation activities in agriculture is also understood. In this study, the process of formation of gren economic transformation through the understanding of sustainable development will be explained, and then the place and function of innovation in the agricultural sector will be mentioned in this process. Within the scope of the study, the R&D activities and innovation experiences in agriculture of the advanced countries in agriculture in the world will be examined, then the current situation and potential of Turkey in the agricultural sector will be analyzed and compared.
