Özet

Turizm sektörünün temel hizmet sağlayıcılarından olan turist rehberliği, insan ilişkileri temelli çok yönlü ve önemli profesyonel mesleklerden biridir (Yenipınar, 2019). Turizm faaliyetlerine katılan turistlerin genellikle yabancısı olduğu bir turizm destinasyonuna gittiklerinde, en çok ihtiyaç duydukları hizmetlerden bir tanesinin rehberlik hizmeti olduğu söylenebilir. Turistlerle birebir iletişim kuran, ülkenin kültürel ve doğal değerlerini turiste en iyi şekilde aktaran turist rehberleri ülkenin turizm imajına önemli ölçüde katkıda bulunur. Bu araştırmanın iki temel amacı bulunmaktadır. Birincisi, turist rehberliği eğitiminde yaratıcı drama yönteminin sosyal becerilerin geliştirilmesinde uygulanabilirliğini tartışmaktır. Çalışmanın ikinci amacı ise, yaratıcı drama yöntemi ile turist rehberlerinin mesleki sorunlarını tespit etmek ve bu sorunlara sundukları çözüm önerilerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Nevşehir ili içerisinde ikamet eden, çeşitli kurumlarda turist rehberliği eğitimi almış, ulusal ve bölgesel olarak farklı rehber çalışma kartlarına sahip, farklı süre ve bölgelerde çalışmış, daha önce yüz yüze yaratıcı drama deneyimi bulunmayan, 21 eylemli profesyonel turist rehberi oluşturmuştur. Araştırma fenomonolojik yaklaşım çerçevesinde tasarlanmış olup, verilerin toplanması ve çözülmesinde nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel veri toplama aracı olarak açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri atölyelere katılan profesyonel turist rehberlerinin her atölye sonunda yazmış olduğu katılımcı günlükleri, rehberlerle yapılan yüzyüze görüşmeler ve eğitmen notlarının içerik analizi yapılmış ve elde edilen bulgular tartışılarak yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre yaratıcı drama yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen atölyelerin turist rehberliği mesleğinde ihtiyaç duyulan sosyal becerilerin gelişmesine katkı sağladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bununla birlikte turist rehberliği eğitiminde yaratıcı drama yönteminin kullanılmasının etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yaratıcı drama yöntemi ile turist rehberliği meslek sorunlarının belirlenmesi ve çözümüne ilişkin öneriler sunulmasına katkı sağladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Tourist guiding, one of the main service providers of the tourism sector, is one of the most versatile and important professional professions based on human relations (Yenipınar, 2019). It can be said that when tourists participating in tourism activities go to a tourism destination that they are generally unfamiliar with, one of the services they need most is the guidance service. Tourist guides who establish one-to-one communication with tourists and convey the cultural and natural values of the country to the tourists in the best way contribute significantly to the tourism image of the country. This research has two main aims. The first one is to discuss the applicability of creative drama method in the development of social skills in tourist guiding education. The second aim of the study is to determine the professional problems of tourist guides and to determine the solutions they offer to these problems with creative drama method. The study group of the research consisted of 21 professional tourist guides residing in Nevşehir province, who received tourist guide training from various institutions, had different guide work cards nationally and regionally, worked in different periods and regions, and had no previous face-to-face creative drama experience. The research was designed within the framework of a phenomenological approach and it was planned to use qualitative research method in collecting and solving the data. A semi-structured interview form consisting of open-ended questions was developed as a qualitative data collection tool. The research data were analysed by content analysis of the participant diaries written by the professional tourist guides participating in the workshops at the end of each workshop, the responses obtained as a result of face-to-face interviews with the guides and the instructor notes, and the findings obtained were discussed and interpreted. According to the findings obtained, it was concluded that the workshops carried out with creative drama method contributed to the development of social skills needed in the tourist guiding profession. In addition, it was determined that the use of creative drama method in tourist guiding education is effective. It was concluded that the creative drama method contributed to the identification and solution of the problems of the tourist guiding profession.
