Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı 5.sınıf öğretim programlarında yer alan kesirler konusuna dair öğrencilerin sahip oldukları kavram yanılgılarının belirlenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 4 sorudan oluşan üç aşamalı teşhis testi geliştirilmiş olup geliştirilen bu test İstanbul ili Bakırköy ilçesinde bulunan bir özel okulun 5.sınıfında öğrenim gören 54 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Üç aşamalı teşhis testlerinden elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda, öğrencilerin literatürde belirlenmiş birçok kavram yanılgısına benzer şekilde kavram yanılgılarına sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this research is to determine the misconceptions of students about fractions in 5th grade curriculum. For this purpose, a three-stage diagnostic test consisting of 4 questions was developed and this test was applied to 54 students studying in the 5th grade of a private school in Bakırköy, Istanbul. As a result of the evaluation of the data obtained from the three-stage diagnostic tests, it was determined that the students had misconceptions similar to many misconceptions identified in the literature.
