Özet
Bu tez çalışması 14. yüzyıldan 16. yüzyılın başına kadar uzanan bir zaman aralığında Osmanlı toplumsal yapısının gelişimi ile Osmanlı toplumunda siyasal ilişkilerin temellerini analiz etmekte ve bu analizi temel alarak Osmanlı toplumunda siyasal düşüncelerin tarihsel anlamını ortaya çıkartmaya yönelik bir araştırma yürütmektedir. Tezin ilk bölümünde siyasal düşüncelerin yapısı, siyasal düşünceler tarihi alanında metodolojik yaklaşımlar, toplumsal formasyon tipolojisi tartışmaları, Osmanlı toplumsal formasyonunun gelişimi, Osmanlı toplumunun yapısı ve devlet problemi ayrıntılı olarak ele alınmaktadır. Bu çerçevede Osmanlı siyasal yapısının temelleri yeni bir yaklaşım olarak rantier üretim tarzı kavramına atıfla açıklanmakta, Osmanlı devletinin gelişimi serimlenmekte ve Osmanlı toplumunu oluşturan farklı sınıf ve tabakaların yapısı analiz edilmektedir. Tezin ikinci kısmında ise Osmanlı siyasal düşüncesi birincil tarihsel kaynaklara dayanılarak analiz edilmektedir. İlk olarak çeşitli toplumsal kesimlerin birbirleri ile rant ve statü merkezli mücadeleleri analiz edilmekte, siyasal düşünce örneklerinin parçası olduğu toplumsal mücadeleler ve içerisinden çıktıkları düşünsel gelenekler bir bütün olarak bu analize dahil edilmektedir. İkinci olarak hukuk, adalet, hükümdar imgesi, siyasal taktikler ve soykütük inşaları siyasal düşünceler tarihinin bir parçası olarak değerlendirilmekte, ideolojik formasyonun, egemen kimliğin ve siyasal söylemin gelişimi bu çerçevede analiz edilmektedir. Bu tezin ortaya koyduğu temel sonuç, Osmanlı toplumunun ve siyasal düşüncesinin bir bütün olarak çeşitli toplumsal sınıf ve katmanların mücadelesi içerisinde şekillenen dinamik bir yapıya sahip olduğu, homojen bir toplum biçimine, durağan bir siyasal yapıya ve salt ahlaki bir söylem biçiminin kalıplarına indirgenemeyeceğidir.

This thesis study analyzes the development of Ottoman social structure and the foundations of politics in Ottoman society in a time period from the 14th century to the beginning of the 16th century, and, based on this analysis, develops a research to reveal the historical meaning of political thoughts in Ottoman society. In the first part of the thesis, the structure of political thoughts, methodological approaches in the history of political thoughts, discussions on social formation types, the development of the Ottoman social formation, the structure of Ottoman society and the state problem are discussed in detail. In this context, the foundations of the Ottoman political structure are explained with reference to the concept of rentier mode of production, the development of the Ottoman state is revealed, and the structure of various classes and strata that make up the Ottoman society is analyzed. In the second part of the thesis, Ottoman political thought is analyzed based on primary historical sources. First of all, the rent and status-based struggles of various social segments with each other are analyzed, and the social struggles of which political thought examples were a part and the intellectual traditions they emerged from are included in this analysis as a whole. Secondly, law, justice, the image of the ruler, political tactics and genealogical constructions are evaluated as a part of the history of political thought, and the development of ideological formation, dominant identity and political discourse is analyzed within this framework. The main conclusion of this thesis is that Ottoman society and political thought as a whole had a dynamic structure shaped by the struggle of various social classes and strata, and could not be reduced to a homogeneous society form, a static political structure and a purely moral form of discourse.
