Özet
The goal of this current research was to investigate and review the past climate predictions and compare them with the observed temperature data. The first part of the project that the history of the recorded earth temperature and some significant organisations which carry out the temperature measurement are investigated. After this, the world average temperature value was found by evaluating these organisations. After obtained the temperature data, for the name of these organisations formed the dataset by using Excel. After creating this dataset, for comparing them with predictions, calculated them their average value. Then, the relationship between thermodynamic and climate change are investigated. After that, the investigation of predictions was started. The main time intervals from 1980 to 2014 and focusing this time interval. Some notable scientists and the most important organisation in this area IPCC were investigated. Particularly, their report and paper were the most valuable sources for the starting point. In this section, for obtaining the data from their graphs, the computer programme of data theft was used. After obtaining the data, the database of predictions were formed by using Excel and they were ready for comparison. Then, the comparison of the predictions and observed temperature data was started and obtained some results. Subsequently, the three countries, the USA, the UK and Turkey climate information and last 35 years average temperature information were studied. Key strengths and weakness of the project were determined and suitable developments clearly outlined for the further improvements and the high degree of accuracy. At the end of the project; critical evaluation of the obtained results has lead to the conclusion
