Özet
Bu çalışmada öncelikle eğitimin tanımı yapılmış ardından mesleki ve teknik eğitim ile ilgili genel bilgiler verildikten sonra geçmişten günümüzde Türkiye'de mesleki teknik eğitimin gelişimi konusuna değinilmiştir. Daha sonra Osmanlı Devleti'nin geleneksel örgün ve yaygın eğitim kurumları hakkında bilgiler verilerek Osmanlı Devleti'nde genel eğitimden sorumlu okullar ile mesleki ve teknik eğitim veren örgün ve yaygın eğitim kurumları müfredatları, kuruluş ve yıkılış süreçleri, öğretmen ve öğrenci seçimi, okutulan dersler vb. gibi farklı açılardan incelenmiştir. En son aşamada Osmanlı Devleti'nin dünya mirasına kültürel ve eğitsel katkısı sayılabilecek nitelikte bir saray okulu olan Enderun Mektebi geniş bir perspektifte detaylıca ele alınmıştır.“Osmanlı Devletinde Meslek Eğitimi ve Enderun Mektebi”isimli çalışmada meslek edindirmede etkili olan kurumlar yine bu alanda yazılan kitap, dergi, makale ve tezlerden yararlanılarak anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

In this study, firstly, the definition of education was made, and after general information about vocational and technical education was given, development of vocational technical education from past to present was mentioned.Then, by giving information about the traditional formal and non-formal education institutions of the Ottoman Empire, vocational and technical education institutions in the Ottoman Empire were examined from different perspectives such as curricula, establishment and collapse processes, teacher and student selection, courses taught, etc.In the final stage, the Enderun School which is a palace school that can be considered as a cultural and educational contribution of the Ottoman Empire to the World heritage, was discussed in detail in a broad perspective. Thanks to these boys, a strong bureaucratic class was raised and the authority of the state found the opportunity to spread to the remotest corners of the country.
