Özet
Araştırma, moda tasarım alanı temel derslerinden biri olan ve beceri ağırlıklı bir ders olan kalıp hazırlama dersi öğretimine yönelik bir mobil öğrenme uygulaması geliştirmek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Öğrencinin aktif katılımını destekleyen öğretim yöntemlerinden biri olan ters yüz öğretim yöntemi kullanılarak, mobil öğrenme uygulaması, iki hafta süreyle derste öğrenciler tarafından kullanılmıştır. Amaca ulaşmada izlenen yollar ve elde edilecek veriler doğrultusunda aşamalı olarak planlanan araştırmada karma yöntem desenlerinden çok aşamalı karma desen yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Mobil öğrenme uygulamasının geliştirilmesi aşamasında öğretim tasarım modellerinden ADDIE modeli kullanılmıştır. ADDIE'nin analiz aşamasında mobil uygulamada yer alacak konunun tespit edilmesi amacıyla dersi veren eğitmenlere anket düzenlenmiş ve öğrencilerin kalıp hazırlama dersinde en çok zorlandıkları konular belirlenmiştir. Anket verileri frekans ve yüzde değerleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu aşamada bütçe analizi yapılarak TÜBİTAK 1002-A proje başvurusu yapılmış ve proje desteği alınmıştır. Tasarım aşamasında, uygulamanın içeriği, ders içinde kullanılacak materyaller, ön ve son test soruları ve uygulama sonunda eğitmen ve öğrencilere uygulanacak değerlendirme formları hazırlanmıştır. Ayrıca bu aşamada ters yüz öğretimin derste uygulama aşamaları planlanmıştır. Geliştirme aşamasında, mobil öğrenme uygulamasının Android ve iox işletim sistemlerine uygun olarak yazılımı yapılmıştır. Mobil uygulamanın pilot testi 42 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Pilot test verilerinin olumlu gelmesi ile ADDIE'nin uygulama aşamasına geçilmiştir. Örneklemde yer alan 51 öğrenci ve eğitmen tarafından ters yüz öğretim ortamında mobil öğrenme uygulaması Kalıp Hazırlamaya Giriş dersinde iki hafta süreyle kullanılmıştır. Uygulama öncesinde öğrencilere ön test yapılmıştır. Eğitim sonunda son test, mobil uygulamaya ve ters yüz öğretime dair eğitmen ve öğrencilere yarı yapılandırılmış sorular sorulmuştur. Değerlendirme aşamasında, eğitmen ve öğrencilerden toplanan veriler aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, yüzde ve frekans değerleri bulunarak, yarı yapılandırılmış sorular betimsel analiz yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin geliştirilen mobil öğrenme uygulaması PaMa'ya yönelik değerlendirmede olumlu sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Öğrenciler zaman ve mekân kısıtlaması olmaksızın, yanlarında taşıdıkları mobil cihazlarından bilgiye ulaşmanın çok büyük bir kolaylık ve özgürlük olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Özellikle uygulama içinde yer alan etek kalıplarının görsellerinin olması ve uygulamada yer alan interaktif işlemler ile ilgili memnuniyet düzeyi oldukça yüksek görülmüştür. Yapılan ön ve son test verileri arasında başarı düzeyinde anlamlı bir fark çıkmıştır. Araştırma alanın önemli bir dersi olan Kalıp Hazırlamaya Giriş dersine yönelik teknoloji temelli yeni bir öğretim tasarımı sunması ve benzer araştırmalara örnek teşkil etmesi bakımından önemli görülmektedir.

The research was carried out with the aim of developing a mobile learning application for teaching pattern making course, which is one of the basic courses in the field of fashion design and a skill-oriented course. Using the flipped teaching method, which is one of the teaching methods that supports the active participation of the student, the mobile learning application was used by the students in the course for two weeks. The multi-stage mixed design method, one of the mixed method designs, was used in the research, which was planned gradually in line with the methods followed to achieve the goal and the data to be obtained. ADDIE model, one of the instructional design models, was used in the development of the mobile learning application. During the analysis phase of ADDIE, a survey was conducted for the instructors who taught the course in order to determine the topic that would be included in the mobile application, and the topics that the students had the most difficulty in the pattern making course were determined. Survey data was analyzed using frequency and percentage values. In addition, at this stage, a budget analysis was made and a TUBITAK 1002-A project application was made and project support was received. During the design phase, the content of the application, the materials to be used in the course, pre- and post-test questions, and evaluation forms to be applied to instructors and students at the end of the application were prepared. Additionally, at this stage, the application stages of flipped teaching in the course are planned. During the development phase, the software of the mobile learning application was developed in accordance with Android and iOS operating systems. The pilot test of the mobile application was conducted with 42 students. With the positive pilot test data, the implementation phase began. The mobile learning application was used in the flipped teaching environment by 51 students and instructors in the sample for two weeks in the Introduction to Pattern Making course. A pre-test was given to the students before the application. At the end of the training, in the post-test, semi-structured questions were asked to the instructors and students about the mobile application and flipped teaching. During the evaluation phase, the data collected from the instructor and students were evaluated by finding arithmetic mean, standart deviation, percentage and frequency values, and using semi-structured questions and descriptive analysis. As a result of the research, positive results were obtained in the evaluation of the mobile learning application PaMa developed by the students. Students stated that it is a great convenience and freedom to access information from the mobile devices they carry with them, without any time or place restrictions. The satisfaction level was found to be quite high, especially with the visuals of the skirt patterns in the application and the interactive operations in the application. There was a significant difference in success level between the pre- and post-test data. The research is considered important as it offers a new technology-based on teaching design for the Introduction to Pattern Making course, which is an important course in the field, and sets an example for similar research.
