Özet
Endüstriyel dönüşümler ekonomik, toplumsal ve kültürel yaşamı derinden etkileyen dönüm noktalarıdır. Bu dönüm noktaları emek üzerinde geniş kapsamlı etkilere yol açmış; işlerin niteliğini ve görülüş biçimlerini, işveren-işçi ilişkisini, emeğin vasıf, çıkar ve yükümlülüklerini de dönüşüme tabi tutmuştur. Günümüz koşullarında ise insana olan gereksinimin azaldığı, üretim prosesinin bütününü Endüstri 4.0 bileşenleri ve artış gösteren otomasyonla birlikte icra edip yönetebilen makinelerin etkilerinin hissedildiği bir dönem yaşanmaktadır. Bu devrimin toplum, birey ve çevreye karşı handikapları adına ise, felsefesinin merkezinde insan olan Toplum 5.0 dönüşümü ulaşılmak istenen bir hedef olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Dönüşüm dalgalarıyla emeğin yaşadığı evrimler, öte yandan geleceğin emeğinin nasıl ve ne yönde dönüşeceği tartışılagelen bir konu olmakla beraber, henüz bir fikir birliğine ulaşılamamıştır. Buradan hareketle yöntemsel olarak literatür incelemesine dayalı olan bu tez, Birinci Sanayi Devrimi' nden Toplum 5.0' a emeğin ve içinde bulunduğu sürecin dönüşümünün nasıl ve ne yönde gerçekleştiğini irdelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Buna ek olarak, dördüncü ve beşinci dönüşüm dalgaları kapsamında temel teknolojileri, iş ve mesleklere dair etkileri, öte yandan sendikal hareketinde emekle beraber ne yönde değiştiğini incelemektedir. Bahsi geçen endüstriyel dönüşümler bağlamında yapılan incelemeler üç önemli bulguya işaret etmektedir. Bunlardan ilki tarihsel süreçte, bahsi geçen endüstriyel dalgalar ile gelen teknolojik gelişmelerin, artış gösteren özdevinimleşme ile beraber iş ve işin niteliğini de dönüşüme tabi tutacağıdır. Dolayısıyla bu durum meslekler, iş görme biçim ve süreçleri üzerinde de köklü değişimlere yol açacaktır. İkincisi, dijitalleşme, yükselen gig ekonomisi ve sendikaların etkinliklerini büyük ölçüde yitirmesine bağlı olarak emeğin güvencesiz ve örgütsüz kaldığı; bu noktada sendikal örgütlerin emeğin ihtiyaçlarını karşılayacak şekilde kendilerini güncellemeleri gerektiğidir. Üçüncüsü ise, emeğin yeni döneme adaptasyonunun devlet, toplum ve işletmeler nezdinde desteklenip gerçekleştirilecek olan eğitimlerle sağlanabileceği ve emeğin yeniden vasıflandırılabileceğidir. Bu bulgular Sanayi 4.0' ın emek üzerindeki negatif etkilerini azaltabilmek için insan odaklı Toplum 5.0' ın genel bir strateji olarak benimsenmesi ve ivedilikle adaptasyon sağlanması gerektiğine işaret etmektedir. Bu tezin, endüstriyel dönüşümlerin emek üzerindeki etkilerine ve gelecekte emeği bekleyen sürece yönelik olarak literatüre katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.

Industrial transformations are turning points that profoundly affect economic, social and cultural life. These turning points have had far-reaching effects on labor, transforming the nature of jobs and the way they are seen, the employer-employee relationship, and the qualifications, interests and obligations of labor. In today's conditions, there is a period in which the need for human beings is decreasing and the effects of machines that can perform and manage the entire production process with Industry 4.0 components and increasing automation are felt. On behalf of the handicaps of this revolution against society, the individual and the environment, the transformation of Society 5.0, which has human beings at the center of its philosophy, has emerged as a goal to be achieved. Although the evolutions of labor with the waves of transformation, on the other hand, how and in what direction the labor of the future will transform is a subject of debate, a consensus has not yet been reached. Therefore, this thesis, which is methodologically based on a literature review, aims to examine how and in what direction the transformation of labor and the process it is in has taken place from the First Industrial Revolution to Society 5.0. In addition, within the scope of the fourth and fifth waves of transformation, it examines the main technologies, their effects on jobs and professions, as well as the direction in which the union movement has changed along with labor. The analysis of these industrial transformations points to three important findings. The first of these is that the technological developments that came with these industrial waves in the historical process will transform the nature of work and work with increasing automatization. Therefore, this will lead to radical changes in professions and the ways and processes of doing business. The second is that labor remains precarious and unorganized due to digitalization, the rising gig economy and the fact that unions have largely lost their effectiveness; at this point, union organizations need to update themselves to meet the needs of labor. The third is that labor's adaptation to the new era can be ensured through trainings to be supported and carried out by the state, society and businesses, and that labor can be requalified. These findings indicate that in order to reduce the negative effects of Industry 4.0 on labor, human-oriented Society 5.0 should be adopted as a general strategy and adaptation should be ensured urgently. This thesis is expected to contribute to the literature on the effects of industrial transformations on labor and the process that awaits labor in the future.
