Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmada ameliyathanede ergonomi eğitiminin hemşirelerin kas-iskelet sistemi rahatsızlıkları ve yaşam kalitesi üzerine etkisini belirlemek amaçlandı. Yöntem: Araştırmada, tek gruplu ön test-son test yarı deneysel araştırma deseni kullanıldı. Bu araştırmanın örneklemini 14 Kasım 2022-12 Haziran 2023 tarihleri arasında Afyonkarahisar Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi ameliyathanelerinde görev yapan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 58 hemşire oluşturdu. Araştırmanın eğitim öncesi ve eğitimden üç ay sonraki verileri ameliyathane ortamında toplandı. Araştırmanın verilerinin toplanmasında“Ameliyathanede Fiziksel Ergonomik Risk Faktörlerinin Tanımlanması Formu”,“Hemşire Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu”,“Hızlı Tüm Vücut Değerlendirmesi Formu (Rapid Entire Body Assessment– REBA)”,“CORNELL Kas-İskelet Rahatsızlıkları Skalası”,“SF 12-Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği”kullanıldı. Araştırmada tanımlayıcı veriler sayı ve yüzde ile verildi. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde“D'Agostino Pearson Omnibus Testi, T-Testi, Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi”kullanıldı. Bulgular: Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin ergonomi eğitimi öncesi ön test ve eğitim sonrası son test Cornell kas iskelet rahatsızlık düzeyleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu, hemşirelerin son test puanlarının daha düşük olduğu bulundu (Z=-6.284, p<.05). Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin REBA ön test skor ortalamasının 6.67 ± 2.36 REBA son test skor ortalamasının 2.62±1.06 olduğu ve yapılan analiz sonucunda REBA skorları açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu, son test puanlarının daha düşük olduğu bulundu (p<.05). Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin yaşam kalitesi ölçeği fiziksel bileşenler alt boyutu ön test ve son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu son test puanlarının yüksek olduğu bulundu (p<.05). Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin yaşam kalitesi ölçeği fiziksel bileşenler ve mental bileşenler alt boyutları ön test ve son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu son test puanlarının daha yüksek olduğu bulundu (p<.05). Sonuç: Araştırmanın sonucunda, uygulanan ergonomi eğitimi ile hemşirelerin kas iskelet sistemi rahatsızlık düzeyinin azaldığı, duruş pozisyonlarında düzelmeler olduğu ve yaşam kalitesi puanlarında artma olduğu bulundu. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of ergonomics training in the operating room on nurses' musculoskeletal disorders and quality of life. Methods: In the study, a single-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental research design was used. The sample of this study consisted of 58 nurses who worked in the operating rooms of Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Health Application and Research Center between 14 November 2022 and 12 June 2023 and agreed to participate in the research. The data of the study before and three months after the training were collected in the operating room environment. In collecting the data of the research,“Identification of Physical Ergonomic Risk Factors in the Operating Room Form”,“Nurse Introductory Characteristics Form”,“Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA)”,“CORNELL Musculoskeletal Disorders Scale”,“SF 12-Life”It was collected using the“Quality Scale”. Descriptive data in the study were given in numbers and percentages.“D'Agostino Pearson Omnibus Test, T-Test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test”was used in the analysis of the research data. In the study, p<.05 was accepted as the significance level. Results: It was found that there was a statistically significant difference between the pre-test total scores before the ergonomics training and the post-test post-test scores of the operating room nurses in terms of Cornell musculoskeletal discomfort levels, and the post-test scores of the nurses were lower (Z = -6.284, p <.05). The REBA pre-test score average of the operating room nurses was 6.67 +- 2.36, while the REBA post-test score average was 2.62 +- 1.06, and as a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in terms of REBA scores, and the post-test scores were lower. (p<.05). It was found that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the operating room nurses' quality of life scale physical components sub-dimension, and the post-test scores were high (p<.05). It was found that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the mental components sub-dimension of the quality of life scale of operating room nurses, and the post-test scores were high (p <.05). Conclusions: As a result of the research, it was found that with the ergonomics training applied, the nurses' musculoskeletal system discomfort level decreased, there were improvements in their posture positions and their quality of life scores increased.
