Özet
Araştırmada obez hastaların perioperatif dönemde verilen hemşirelik bakımının kalitesine yönelik algısını belirlemek ve algılarını etkileyen faktörleri değerlendirmek amaçlandı. Çalışma tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tiptedir. Çalışma, 15 Ağustos 2023- 15 Şubat 2024 tarihleri arasında Bartın Devlet Hastanesinin cerrahi kliniklerinde yatan ve cerrahi girişim geçiren 225 hasta ile gerçekleştirildi. Verilerin toplanmasında“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”ve“Kaliteli Perioperatif Hemşirelik Bakım Skalası”kullanıldı. Verilerin analizinde“Mann-Whitney U”testi,“Kruskal-Wallis H”testi, Bonferroni düzeltmesi,“Spearman”korelasyon katsayısı yöntemleri kullanıldı. Araştırmaya dahil edilen hastaların Kaliteli Perioperatif Hemşirelik Bakım Skalası toplam puan ortalaması 134±17,2 ve alt boyut puan ortalamaları ise fiziksel bakım 42.29±6.35, bilgi verme 22,09±3,63, destek 13,04±3,14, saygı 13,11±2,17, personel karakterleri 17,16±2,88, çevre 17,91±2,47, hemşirelik süreci 8,70±1,78 olarak belirlendi. Araştırmada Kaliteli Perioperatif Hemşirelik Bakım Skalası alt boyutlarından elde edilen puanın en yüksek çevre, en düşük destek alt boyutunda olduğu belirlendi. Obez erkek hastaların kadınlara göre, daha önce geçirilmiş ameliyat öyküsü olanların, ameliyat öyküsü olmayanlara göre, kronik hastalığı olmayanların kronik hastalığı olanlara göre, ameliyat ve anestezi hakkında bilgi alanların bilgilendirme yapılmayanlara göre, kapalı cerrahi girişim olanların açık cerrahi girişim olanlara göre perioperatif hemşirelik bakım kalitesini daha olumlu algıladıkları belirlendi. Sonuç olarak obez hastaların perioperatif dönem boyunca aldıkları hemşirelik bakımını yüksek düzeyde kaliteli buldukları belirlendi. Obez hastalarda bakım kalitesi algısı, ameliyat öyküsü, kronik hastalık varlığı, ameliyatla ilgili bilgi alma, anestezi ile ilgili bilgi alma ve cerrahi girişim tipi gibi faktörlerle ilişkili olduğu belirlendi.

The study was aimed to determine the perception of obese patients regarding the quality of nursing care provided in the perioperative period and to evaluate the factors influencing their perceptions. The study was descriptive and correlational. The study was conducted with 225 patients who were hospitalized in the surgical clinics of Bartın State Hospital between August 15, 2023 and February 15, 2024 and underwent surgical intervention.“Personal Information Form”and“Quality Perioperative Nursing Care Scale”were used to collect the data. Frequency tables and descriptive statistics were used to interpret the findings.“Mann-Whitney U”test,“Kruskal-Wallis H”test, Bonferroni correction,“Spearman”correlation coefficient methods were used to analyze the data. The mean total score of the Quality Perioperative Nursing Care Scale of the patients included in the study was 134±17.2 and the mean scores of the sub-dimensions were as follows: physical care 42.29±6.35, informing 22.09±3.63, support 13.04±3.14, respect 13.11±2.17, staff characters 17.16±2.88, environment 17.91±2.47, nursing process 8.70±1.78. In the study, it was determined that the scores obtained from the sub-dimensions of the Quality Perioperative Nursing Care Scale were highest in the environment and lowest in the support sub-dimension. It has been determined that obese male patients perceive the quality of perioperative nursing care more positively compared to female patients, those with a history of previous surgery compared to those without, those without chronic illnesses compared to those with chronic illnesses, those who received information about surgery and anesthesia compared to those who did not receive such information, and those undergoing minimally invasive surgical procedures compared to those undergoing open surgical procedures. As a result, it was determined that obese patients perceive the nursing care they receive during the perioperative period as being of high quality. The perception of care quality in obese patients was found to be associated with factors such as history of previous surgery, presence of chronic illness, receiving information about the surgery, receiving information about anesthesia, and the type of surgical procedure.
