Özet
Bu tez çalışması acil servise başvuran travma hastalarının algıladığı stres düzeyleri ve hasta memnuniyetine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı kesitsel olarak yapıldı. Araştırma 15.04.2023-15.04.2024 tarihleri arasında, Trakya Üniversitesi Sağlık Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi acil servis travma ünitesine başvuran hastalar ile gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmada, evreni bilinen örneklem hesabına göre, %95 güven aralığında, %5 hata payı ile basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile örneklem hesaplaması yapıldığında çalışmaya alınması gereken minimum kişi sayısı 206 olarak hesaplandı. Dâhil edilme kriterlerini karşılayan 219 travma hastası çalışmaya dahil edildi. Araştırmanın verileri için“Hasta Tanıtım Formu”,“Acil Servis Hasta Memnuniyet Ölçeği”ve 'Algılanan Stres Ölçeği' kullanıldı. Elde edilen verileri SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 22.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edildi. Tanımlayıcı istatistikler için ortalama, standart sapma, medyan, min. ve max. değerleri kullanıldı. Verilerin normal dağılımına Kolmogorov-Smirnov ile bakılmış ve veriler normal dağılıma uymadığı için ikili değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiye non-parametrik test olan Mann-Whitney U testi ile üçlü değişkenlere ise non parametrik test olan Kruskal-Wallis Testi ile bakıldı. İstatistiksel anlamlılık için p değeri 0.05 olarak belirlendi. Çalışmada Acil Servis Hasta Memnuniyet Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 62,73±8,62, Algılanan Stres Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 31,80±9,41 olarak bulundu. Acil Servis Hasta Memnuniyet Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması ile Algılanan Stres Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması arasında negatif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edildi (rs=-0,196, p=0,004). Araştırmada hastaların algıladığı stres orta düzeydeyken, memnuniyetleri yüksek bulundu. Hastaların algıladığı stres ile memnuniyetleri arasında zıt yönlü bir ilişki belirlendi.

This thesis study was conducted as a descriptive cross sectional study to determine the perceived stress levels of trauma patients applying to the emergency department and its effect on patient satisfaction. The research was conducted between 15.04.2023 and 15.04.2024 with patients who applied to the emergency department trauma unit of Trakya University Health Research and Application Center. In the study, when the sample size was calculated with the simple random sampling method with a 95% confidence interval and a 5% margin of error, according to the sample population with a known population, the minimum number of people to be included in the study was calculated as 206. 219 trauma patients who met the inclusion criteria were included in the study.“Patient Introduction Form”,“ Emergency Department Patient Satisfaction Scale ”and“Perceived Stress Scale”were used for the data of the research. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 22.0 program. For descriptive statistics, mean, standard deviation, median, min. and max. values were used. The normal distribution of the data was examined with Kolmogorov-Smirnov, and since the data did not comply with the normal distribution, the relationship between binary variables was examined with the Mann-Whitney U test, which is a non-parametric test, and the triple variables were examined with the Kruskal-Wallis Test, which is a non-parametric test. The statistical significance level (p value) was determined as 0.05. In the study, the mean total score of the Emergency Department Patient Satisfaction Scale was 62.73±8.62, and the mean total score of the Perceived Stress Scale was 31.80±9.41. It was determined that there was a statistically significant negative relationship between the Emergency Department Patient Satisfaction Scale total score average and the Perceived Stress Scale total score average (rs=-0.196, p=0.004). In the study, while the stress perceived by the patients was at a medium level, their satisfaction was found to be high. An opposite relationship was determined between the stress perceived by the patients and their satisfaction.
