Özet
Dünya üzerindeki endüstriyel sistemlerin en hızlı değişen parçalarından biri tedarik zinciridir. Enerji maliyetlerinin artması, kaynakların her geçen gün daha kısıtlı hale gelmesi nedeniyle tedarik zincirinin yapı taşlarından stok yönetimi üzerine yapılan çalışmalar da günümüzde işletmelerin en önemli projeleri arasına girmiştir. Teknolojinin ilerlemesi, akademik çalışmaların gelişmesi ile birlikte her alanda olduğu gibi depolama sistemlerinde de son derece yeni uygulamalar görülmektedir. Stok alanları artık manuel insan kontrolünden çıkmış veri madenciliği yöntemleri ile karar verme süreçleri desteklenen standartlaştırılmış yalın sistemlerle yönetilmektedir. Bu tez çalışmasında mobilya sektörünün önemli tedarikçilerinden çelik tel üreticisi bir firmanın stok alanı yerleşiminin optimize edilmesi ve buna bağlı olarak ürün sevk süreçlerinin iyileştirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Stok alanının en verimli kullanımını, stoğa üretilecek ürün tipi, üretilecek ürün miktarı, istiflenecek stok adresine verilen kararlar belirleyecektir. Bu amaçla uygulama bölümünün birinci aşamasında işletme geçmiş satışları veri madenciliği yöntemiyle detaylı şekilde incelenmiş, veriler ışığında talep tahmini yapılırken müşteri alışkanlıkları da tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar uygulama bölümünün ikinci aşamasında kurulan matematiksel model içerisinde kullanılmıştır. Maliyetin minimize edilmesini amaçlayan matematiksel model çözümü için GAMS programı kullanılırken, veri madenciliği uygulamaları için WEKA programı kullanılmıştır. 14 farklı ürün tipinin 41 holden oluşan stok alanına optimal yerleşimi konusunda sevk odaklı verimlilik artışı sağlanmıştır.

One of the fastest changing components of industrial systems worldwide is the supply chain. Due to the increasing costs of energy and the ever-growing scarcity of resources, studies on inventory management, one of the building blocks of the supply chain, have become one of the most crucial projects for businesses today. With advancements in technology and the development of academic research, as seen in every field, extremely new applications are emerging in storage systems as well. Stock areas are now managed through standardized lean systems supported by decision-making processes utilizing data mining methods, eliminating manual human control. In this thesis, the aim is to optimize the warehouse layout of a steel wire manufacturer, one of the significant suppliers in the furniture sector, and consequently improve product shipping processes. The most efficient utilization of the stock area will be determined by decisions regarding the type and quantity of products to be stocked, as well as the choice of storage locations. For this purpose, in the first stage of the implementation section, past sales of the company were thoroughly examined using data mining methods. Demand forecasting was conducted based on the data, while customer habits were also identified. The results obtained were utilized within the mathematical model established in the second stage of the implementation section. The GAMS program was used for solving the mathematical model aimed at minimizing costs, while the WEKA program was utilized for data mining applications. An increase in shipping oriented efficiency has been achieved through the optimal placement of 14 different product types into the 41 hold stock area.
