Özet
“Cengiz Han Döneminde Moğollar”adlı tezimiz Cengiz Han döneminde kurulan Moğol İmparatorluğunun faaliyetlerini, Moğol halklarının kökenlerini ve bu dönemin etkisinin devam ettiği süreçte onların kültürlerini incelemektedir. Tez üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; Moğollar, Camiü't-Tevarih'e Göre Moğol Kavimleri, Moğolların kökenlerine dair proto-Moğol halklar veya bu halklarla ilişkisi olan; Hunlar, Donghular, Wuhuanlar, Xianbeiler, Rouranlar, Kumoxiler, Kitanlar, Shıweiler ele alındı. İkinci bölümde; Cengiz Han'ın Yaşamı, İmparatorluğun Kuruluşu, Ordusu ve Devlet Yapısı, Cengiz Han'ın Orta Asya, Güney ve Batı Seferleri incelendi. Üçüncü bölümde kültür ve medeniyet konularına dair; dış görünümleri ve mizaçları, giyimleri, beslenme alışkanlıkları, inanç yapıları, Cengiz Yasası, yazı ve dilleri, posta sistemleri, barınma yapıları, müzik ve eğlence dünyaları, uğraştıkları sporlar ve sosyal yapıları konu edinildi.

Our thesis titled“Mongols During the Period of Genghis Khan”researches the activities of the Mongol Empire during the period of Genghis Khan, the origins of the Mongol peoples and their culture during the period when this period continued its influence. The thesis consists of three sections. In the first section; Mongols, Mongol Tribes According to the Camiü't-Tevarih, proto-Mongol peoples that the Mongols originated from or those who had relations with these peoples; Huns, Donghus, Wuhuans, Xianbeis, Rourans, Kumoxis, Khitans, Shıweis were selected. In the second section; Genghis Khan's Life, the Establishment of the Empire, His Army and State Structure, Genghis Khan's Central Asia, South and West Expeditions were examined. In the third section; their appearance and temperament, clothing, publications, belief structures, Genghis Yassa, writing and language, postal systems, housing structures, music and entertainment worlds, sports they engaged in and social structures were discussed regarding culture and civilization.
