Özet
Müzik eğitimi, geleneksel anlayışın ötesinde çağdaş ve yenilikçi yaklaşımlarla sürekli olarak güncellenmekte ve çeşitli öğretim yöntemleri ile materyaller geliştirilmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaöğretim düzeyinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin BHR eğitimi kullanıldığında müzik algılarındaki olumlu veya olumsuz yöndeki gelişimlerini gözlemlemektir. Çalışma, tek gruplu yarı deneysel bir desen kullanılarak planlanmıştır. Nicel verileri toplamak üzere Anadolu Üniversitesi Müzik Algısı Testi kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılar 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılında Gaziantep'in Şehitkamil ilçesindeki Süleyman Şah Anadolu Lisesi'nde 10. sınıfta öğrenim gören 5 farklı şubedeki 80 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Bu öğrencilere BHR eğitimi kullanılarak haftada 2 gün, 2 saat olmak üzere toplamda 8 hafta süreyle eğitim verilmiştir. Verilerin normal dağılıp dağılmadığını belirlemek için çarpıklık ve basıklık değerleri ile Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi kullanılmış ve sonuçların normal dağılıma uygun olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, verilerin varyans homojenliğini kontrol etmek için Levene testi uygulanmış ve gruplar arasında varyansların homojen olduğu görülmüştür. Bu şartlar sağlandığından, BHR eğitiminin öğrencilerin AMAT test puanları üzerindeki etkilerini incelemek amacıyla iki yönlü tekrarlı ölçümler ANOVA (Mixed Measure Two-Way ANOVA) uygulanmıştır. Analizlerde hata payı p<0,05 olarak alınmış ve tüm analizler SPSS 27.0 programı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, kadınlar ve erkekler arasında AMAT testi toplam puanlarında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır. Ancak, katılımcıların kendi grupları içinde yapılan ön ve son test puanlarında anlamlı değişiklikler gözlemlenmiştir. Bu çerçevede katılımcıların pozitif yönde değişiklikler gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, cinsiyet açısından ön ve son test sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında, uygulanan BHR yönteminin süreç boyunca toplam puanlarda cinsiyete göre anlamlı farklılık yarattığı gözlemlenmiştir.

Music education is continuously updated with contemporary and innovative approaches beyond the traditional understanding, and various teaching methods and materials are developed. The aim of this study is to observe the positive or negative developments in the music perception of secondary school students when using BHR education. The study is planned using a single-group quasi-experimental design. The Anadolu University Music Perception Test was used to collect quantitative data. The participants consist of 80 students from 5 different classes in the 10th grade at Süleyman Şah Anatolian High School in the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep during the 2023-2024 academic year. These students were given education using BHR for 2 days a week, 2 hours each, for a total of 8 weeks. Skewness and kurtosis values and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test were used to determine whether the data were normally distributed, and it was found that the results were suitable for normal distribution. Additionally, the Levene test was applied to check the homogeneity of variances, and it was seen that the variances were homogeneous among the groups. Since these conditions were met, Mixed Measure Two-Way ANOVA was applied to examine the effects of BHR education on students' AMAT test scores. The error margin was taken as p<0.05 in the analyses, and all analyses were performed using the SPSS 27.0 program. According to the research results, there was no significant difference in the total AMAT test scores between females and males. However, significant changes were observed in the pre- and post-test scores within their own groups. In this context, it was determined that the participants showed positive changes. Furthermore, when comparing pre- and post-test results in terms of gender, it was observed that the applied BHR method created a significant difference in total scores throughout the process according to gender.
