Özet
1960 Askerî Darbesi'nin Arap basınına yansımalarını konu alan tezimiz üç ayrı bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde siyasi tarihimizdeki çok partili hayata geçiş süreci incelenmiştir. Bu bölüm ülkemizdeki iktidar, muhalefet ve asker ilişkisinin anlaşılması açısından oldukça önemlidir. İkinci bölümde ise çok partili hayata geçişin anahtarı olan Demokrat Parti'nin faaliyetleri ve darbeye giden süreç işlenmiştir. Böylelikle ilk askerî darbenin gerçekleşmesine sebep olan olaylara da değinilmiş ve darbenin antolojisi ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü ve tezin sorunsalını oluşturan bölümde ise 1960 Darbesi'nin Arap basınına yansıyan yüzüne dikkat çekilmiş, Filistin ve Hüda gazetelerinin 1959 – 1960 – 1961 yıllarındaki tüm sayıları incelenerek konuyla alakalı haberler tercüme edilmiştir. Bu iki gazeteyi diğer gazetelerden ayıran ve incelememize konu olmasını sağlayan birçok sebep söz konusudur. Birisi Ürdün diğeri ise ABD menşeli olan bu iki Arapça gazete, 1960 Türk Askeri Darbesi ile ilgili salt haberler geçmekle kalmamış, darbenin antolojini incelemiş ve bunu yorumlamaları üzerinden okurları ile paylaşmıştır. Türk Askeri Darbesi örnek olayı üzerinden köşe yazıları yazılmış ve farklı haberler üzerinden Türk halkının sosyolojisi hakkında çıkarımlar yapıldığı görülmüştür. Örneğin o günün şartlarında pekte kolay olmayan bir zeminde Ankara'nın Gölbaşı İlçesi Eymir Köyünde darbe hakkında köylüler ile röportaj yapılmış ve olaya karşı yaklaşımlarının nasıl olduğu yorumlanarak Hüda Gazetesinde haber yapılmıştır. Bu röportaj bile söz konusu inceleme için dikkatimizi çekmeye yetmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmamızı orijinal kılan bir başka husus ise bu iki gazetenin New York Times, New York Herald Tribune, Rueters, United Press, Associated Press gibi yabancı kaynaklardan da sıkça haber geçmesi ve yanı sıra; ABD, İngiltere, Lübnan, Fransa, Rusya, Güney Kore, gibi ülkelerin darbeye olan yaklaşımlarını aktarmış olmasıdır. Hülasa bu ve bunun gibi sebepler ile önemli bulunarak kaleme alınan mezkûr bölüm haberlerin deşifresinin yapıldığı bir muhteviyat arz etmekte olup 1960 Darbesine farklı perspektifte bakma imkanı kazandırmak istemiştir.

ABSTRACT Our thesis, which is about the reflections of the 1960 Military Coup on the Arab press, consists of three separate chapters. In the first part, the transition to multi-party life in our political history was examined. This section is very important in terms of understanding the relationship between the government, the opposition and the military in our country. In the second part, the activities of the Democratic Party, which is the key to the transition to multi-party life, and the process leading to the coup are discussed. Thus, the events that led to the first military coup were also mentioned and an anthology of the coup was tried to be put forward. In the third chapter, which constitutes the problematic of the thesis, attention was drawn to the reflection of the 1960 Coup in the Arab press, all issues of Palestine and Huda newspapers in the years 1959 - 1960 - 1961 were examined and relevant news were translated. There are many reasons that distinguish these two newspapers from other newspapers and make them the subject of our analysis. These two Arabic newspapers, one originating from Jordan and the other from the USA, did not only report on the 1960 Turkish Military Coup, but also examined the anthology of the coup and shared it with their readers through their interpretations. Columns were written based on the Turkish Military Coup case study and it was seen that inferences were made about the sociology of the Turkish people through different news. For example, the villagers were interviewed about the coup in the Eymir Village of Ankara's Gölbaşı District, on a ground that was not easy under the conditions of that day, and their approach to the incident was interpreted and reported in the Huda Newspaper. Even this interview was enough to attract our attention for this review. Another thing that makes our research original is that these two newspapers are frequently reported by foreign sources such as the New York Times, New York Herald Tribune, Rueters, United Press, Associated Press, as well as; They conveyed the approaches of countries such as the USA, England, Lebanon, France, Russia and South Korea towards the coup. In short, the mentioned section, which was written as important for these and similar reasons, contains a content in which the news is deciphered and aims to provide different perspectives on the 1960 Coup.
