Dr. Ali EROĞLU 1999, Sayfa: 93 Jüri : Doç.Dr. Ali EROĞLU“Kur'ân'da Âyet-ibret Kavramları ve Aralarındaki Münasebetleri Ele almaya çalıştığımız bu tez, giriş ve üç bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Girişte, çalışmanın önemi, amacı ve yöntemleri anlatılmıştır. Birinci bölümde ”âyet“ kavramı, semantik açıdan ele alınarak âyetin, lügat ve ıstılahı anlamları açıklanmış ve bu kelimenin sözlükte, ”açık alamet, nişan ve emare“ anlamlarına geldiği görülmüştür. Kur'ân'ın bu kelimeye, ”delil, burhan, mu'cize ve ibret“ gibi anlamlar kazandırdığını ve yine ”vahy, necm, sultan, beyyinât ve besâir“ gibi kelimelerinde Kur'ân'da âyet manasını ifade etmek için kullanıldıkları tesbit edilmiştir. ikinci bölümde ”ibret“ terimi incelenerek bu kelimenin lügatte, ”bir halden başka bir hale intikal etme, karşıdan karşıya geçme ve bilinen bir şeyden hareket etmek suretiyle bilinmeyene ulaşma“ gibi anlamlar taşıdığı görülmüştür. Kur'ân'ın bu kelimeye ”ayet, delil ve kıyas“ gibi manalar kazandırdığı tesbit edilmiş, bunun yanında ”nekâl, tezekkür, tedebbür ve mev'ize“ gibi ifadelerinde Kur'ân'da ibret anlamını belirtmek için kullanıldıkları görülmüştür. Üçüncü bölümde ise, ”âyet-ibret“ terimleri arasındaki ilişki konusu ele alınarak, âyetin, ibret alınmasına yardımcı olduğu açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca bu bölümde, ayetlerden ibret alan kimselerin özellikleri de anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, ”âyet ve ibrefin Kur'ân'ın temel iki kavramı olduğu ve bu iki kavramın, anlam yönünden bir birlerini tamamladığı tesbit edilmiştir.

V: ABSTRACT Master Thesis VERSE-ADVICE CONCEPTS IN THE QUR'AN AND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM Mahmut SÖNMEZ Supervisor: Assoc. Prof.Dr. Ali ERO?LU 1999, Pages: 93 Jury : Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali ERO?LU This study consists of an introduction and three chapters and intends to focus on the concepts“verse”and“advice”in the Qur'an and on the relationships between them. The introduction deals with the significance, objective and methods of the study. The first chapter makes a semantic explanation of the concept“verse”and present its denotative and connotative meanings; This concept is explicable by the meanings,“obvious sign, mark or omen”in the dictionary. But in the Qur'an, this concept has been given the meaning of“evidence, proof, miracle and advice”; moreover such words as“God's revelation, star, sultan, indisputable argument and eye of the heart”have been found out to stand for the meaning of the“verse”in the Qur'an. The second chapter examines the denotative meaning of the word“advice”. This word is possessed of the meanings of“transition from a state to another, passing across and reaching the unknown by setting off from something known”. It has also been found out that the Qur'an gives this word the meanings of“verse”, evidence and comparison“. Moreover, such words as ”exemplary punishment, remembrance through mentioning, deliberating and recommendation“ have been employed in the Qur'an to mean the same as ”advice“. The third chapter tackles the relationship between ”verse“ and ”advice“ and it is stated that the verses help to take lesson from something. In addition to this case, we give examples from those who have taken lesson from the verses, through their characteristics. The study concludes that ”verse“ and ”advice" are two essential concepts in the Qur'an and that they are complementary to each other in terms of their meanings.
