The aim of this project is to analyse the existence and the significance of return and volatility spillover effects among foreign exchange rate, stock market and CDS for Turkish financial markets. For this purpose, a VAR(1)-DCC-MGARCH(1,1) framework is employed for the weekly data between October 2008 and May 2020. The results indicate that there are return spillover effects from stock market towards exchange rate and from VIX to all return series. Additionally, there is volatility spillover from stock market towards CDS. Furthermore, there exist own volatility spillovers for exchange rate and CDS returns and strong persistent volatility for all return series.
