Özet

Bu çalışma besi sığırlarında solunum sistemi enfeksiyonlarında tedavi öncesi ve sonrasında bazı biyokimyasal, bağışıklık, oksidatif stres parametrelerinde oluşan değişiklikleri ortaya koymak ve kullanılacak antibiyotik miktarı ve süresinin kısaltılması için sıvı premiks ilavesinin olası tedaviye destekleyici etkilerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Bu amaçla besi iş-letmesinde, solunum sistemi enfeksiyonlarına karşı aşılanmamış ve tedavi yapılmamış 6-8 aylık yerli melez ırklardan 20 adet solunum sistemi hastalığı belirtisi gösteren ve 10 adet sağlıklı (kontrol) olmak üzere, toplam 30 sığır kullanıldı. Hasta hayvanlar iki gruba ayrıldı: I. gruba medikal tedavi, ikinci gruba medikal tedavi + sıvı premiks uygulandı.

This study was conducted to reveal the changes in some biochemical, immune and oxidati-ve stress parameters before and after treatment for respiratory system infections in beef cattle and to determine the possible supportive effects of liquid premix addition to shorten the amount and duration of antibiotics to be used. For this purpose, a total of 30 cattle, 20 showing signs of respiratory system disease and 10 healthy (control), of 6-8 month old local cross-breed cattle that were not vaccinated against respiratory system infections and not treated, were used in the fattening enterprise. Sick animals were divided into two groups: Group I received medical treatment, and Group II received medical treatment + liquid pre-mix. Bacteriological agent isolation and identification were performed by taking swab samples from the nose of the animals. Blood samples were taken from the jugular vein of the animals into tubes without and with anticoagulant, once from the control group animals and from the diseased groups before treatment (day 0) and at the 6th, 24th, 48th and 120th hours after treatment. Serum GOT, ALT activities, TCHO, TG, TB, TP, ALB, UREA, KRE levels and plasma TAS, TOS, OSI, TT, NT, DD levels, TNFα, IL-6, ImgA and IgM con-centrations were evaluated. No differences were observed in serum biochemical parameters between the groups and before and after treatment. AST activity increased at 24, 48 and 120 hours after treatment in group 2 compared to before treatment, at all times of blood collection after treatment in group 3 compared to before treatment, and ALT activity increa-sed at 24, 48 and 120 hours in groups 2 and 3 compared to before treatment and at 6 hours after treatment (P<0,001). TP levels decreased in groups 2 and 3 at the 24th, 48th and 120th hours compared to the 6th hour before and after treatment. (P<0,001).. ALB levels increased at 24 and 48 hours and decreased at 120 hours in groups 2 and 3 compared to pre-treatment and 6 hours after treatment (P<0.001). Globulin levels decreased in the 2nd and 3rd groups at the 24th and 48th hours compared to before and at the 6th hour of treatment (P<0,001). Glucose levels decreased in group 2 at 48 hours after treatment, before treatment, and at 6, 24 and 120 hours after treatment (P<0,001).TG levels decreased at 24, 48 and 120 hours compared to 0 and 6 hours in groups 2 (P<0,001) and 3 (P<0,05). UREA and CRE levels increased at 24, 48 and 120 hours compared to 6 hours before and after treatment (P<0,001). TOC and OSI levels increased in the diseased groups compared to the control group (P<0.001). TAC levels were at the lowest level at 48 hours in group 2 after treatment, but increased at 120 hours compared to 48 hours (P<0.01). TAC levels decreased in the 3rd group at the 6th and 24th hours after treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.001). TOC and OSI (P<0.01) levels increased in the diseased groups compared to the control group (P<0.01). Plasma TOC and OSI levels decreased in the 2nd group compared to the control group at 24th and 120th hours after treatment (P<0.05). Plasma IL-6 levels increased in the patient groups compared to the control group (P<0.05), and were highest at the 120th hour in the 2nd group compared to other times (P<0.001). Plasma IgA levels were highest at 120 hours in group 2 (P<0.001) and at 48 and 120 hours in group 3 (P<0.001) after treatment compared to before treatment. Plasma IgM levels were highest in group 2 at the 120th hour after treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.001). As a result, it was revealed that the use of liquid premix together with medical treatment in cattle with respira-tory system diseases had supportive effects on the oxidative stress and immune response caused by respiratory system infections.
