Özet
Araştırma, cerrahi hemşirelerinin duygusal zekâ ve bakım verici rolleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki araştırmanın evrenini Şırnak ilinde bulunan Şırnak Devlet Hastanesi'nde 12.04.2022-12.05.2022 tarihleri arasında cerrahi birimlerinde çalışan 134 hemşire, örneklemini ise aynı tarihlerde çalışan hemşirelerin tamamı oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri“Hemşire Tanıtım Formu”,“Gözden Geçirilmiş Schutte Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği”ve“Hemşirelerin Bakım Verici Rollerine İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği”ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın istatistiksel analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, gruplar arası farklılıkları analiz etmek için bağımsız örneklem t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), ilişki analizleri için Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyon testi, etki analizleri için ise basit ve çoklu regresyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. İstatistiki anlamlılık %95 güven aralığında alınmıştır. Hemşirelerin %56,0'sının 26-30 yaş aralığında olduğu, %58,2'sinin erkek %62,7'sinin bekar, %77,6'sının lisans mezunu olduğu, %50'sinin cerrahi serviste çalıştığı, %67,9'unun mesleki süresinin 5 yıl ve daha az olduğu, %59'unun 2 yıldan daha az süresi aynı birimde çalıştığı bulunmuştur. Araştırmadaki hemşirelerin Schutte Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği toplam puanının 169,84±12,54 ve Hemşirelerin Bakım Verici Rollerine İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği toplam puanının ise 68,06±7,23 olduğu ve her iki ölçek arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir (r=0,84 ve p<0,05). Cerrahi hemşirelerinin sosyodemografik ve mesleki özelliklerine göre Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği toplam puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık saptanmamıştır (p>0,05). Araştırmadaki hemşirelerin cinsiyetine göre Hemşirelerin Bakım Verici Rollerine İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği toplam puanı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu (p<0,05) ve kadın hemşirelerin puanlarının daha yüksek olduğu, diğer sosyodemografik ve mesleki özelliklere göre ise Hemşirelerin Bakım Verici Rollerine İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği toplam puanı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olmadığı belirlenmiştir (p>0,05). Bu araştırma sonucunda cerrahi hemşirelerinin duygusal zekalarının ve hemşirelerin bakım verici rolünü getirme düzeyinin yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. 6 Araştırmanın başka değişkenler ile daha büyük örneklemde tekrar edilmesi önerilmektedir.

The research was conducted to examine the relationship between the emotional intelligence and caregiver roles of surgical nurses. The population of the descriptive study consisted of 134 nurses working in the surgical units of Şırnak State Hospital in Şırnak province between 12.04.2022 and 12.05.2022, and the sample consisted of all the nurses working on the same dates. Research data were collected with the“Nurse Introduction Form”,“Revised Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale”and“Nurses' Attitude towards Caregiver Roles”. In the statistical analysis of the research, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze the differences between groups, Pearson product-moment correlation test was used for relationship analysis, and simple and multiple regression analyzes were used for effect analysis. Statistical significance was taken at the 95% confidence interval. 56.0% of the nurses were between the ages of 26-30, 58.2% were male, 62.7% were single, 77.6% were undergraduate graduates, 50% were working in the surgical service, 67%, It was found that 9 of them had a professional period of 5 years or less, and 59% of them worked in the same unit for less than 2 years. It was determined that the total score of the Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale of the nurses in the study was 169.84±12.54 and the total score of the Attitudes Related to the Nurses' Caregiver Roles Scale was 68.06±7.23 and there was a statistically significant relationship between the two scales (r=0, 84 and p<0.05). No statistically significant difference was found between the total scores of the Emotional Intelligence Scale according to the sociodemographic and professional characteristics of the surgical nurses (p>0.05). According to the gender of the nurses in the study, there was a statistically significant difference between the total score of the Nurses Attitude Scale towards their Caregiver Roles (p<0.05) and the scores of female nurses were higher. It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between them (p>0.05). 8 As a result of this study, it was determined that the emotional intelligence of surgical nurses and the level of nurses to bring the caregiver role were high. It is recommended to repeat the study with other variables in a larger sample.
