Özet
Centaurea L. cinsi birçok bölgede doğal yayılış gösteren, tür sayısının ve endemizm oranının yüksek olduğu bir cinstir. Bu çalışmada ülkemizde yayılış gösteren Centaurea L. cinsi Cynaroides seksiyonuna ait türlerin morfolojik, anatomik, palinolojik ve aken mikromorfolojik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Seksiyon içerisindeki eksik bilgiler, yeni eklenen taksonları içeren güncel ve geçerli bir teşhis anahtarının olmayışı, bazı taksonlara ait tip örnekleri ile ilgili kayıtlı bilgilerin eksik olması gibi nedenlerle morfolojik, anatomik, palinolojik ve mikromorfolojik çalışmalar ışığında seksiyon üzerinde kapsamlı çalışma amaçlanmıştır. Morfolojik incelemelerde taksonların bitki boyu, gövde, çiçek, aken şekli, aken boyutu, aken yüzeyi, papus rengi, papus boyu gibi karakterler detaylı olarak incelenerek türlerin betimlemeleri genişletilmiştir. Ayrıca taksonların polen ve aken yüzeyleri taramalı elektron mikroskobuyla (SEM) incelenmiş türler arasında ki benzerlikler ve farklılıklar ortaya konmuştur. Tüm taksonların gövde ve yaprak anatomileri incelenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Teşhis anahtarı yeni tanımlanan türleri de kapsayacak şekilde yeniden düzenlenmiştir. Cinse ait türlerin habitat özellikleri, IUCN kategorileri ve coğrafik yayılışları belirlenmiştir. Çalışmalar esnasında yeni tür C. osmaniyensis (2023) tanımlanmıştır. Son yapılan güncellemelerle birlikte bu seksiyonun Türkiye florasında 22 takson ile temsil edildiği değerlendirilmiştir.

The Centaurea L. is a genus that naturally spreads in many regions, has a high number of species and endemism rate. In this study, the morphological, anatomical, palynological and achene micromorphological characteristics of the species belonging to the Cynaroides section of the Centaurea genus, which spreads in our country, were examined. Due to the reasons such as the lack of information in the section, the lack of an up-to-date and valid identification key including newly added taxa, and the lack of recorded information on type specimens of some taxa, a comprehensive study on the section was aimed in the light of morphological, anatomical, palynological and micromorphological studies. In morphological studies, the plant height, stem, flower, achene shape, achene size, achene surface, pappus color, pappus length of the taxa were examined in detail and the descriptions of the species were expanded. In addition, the pollen and achene surfaces of the taxa were examined with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the similarities and differences between the species were revealed. The stem and leaf anatomy of all taxa were examined and evaluated. The identification key was rearranged to include newly described species. Habitat characteristics, IUCN categories and geographical distributions of species belonging to the genus were determined. During the studies, a new species, C. osmaniyensis (2023) was described. With the latest updates, it was evaluated that this section is represented by 22 taxa in the flora of Türkiye.
