Özet
Simone Adolphine Weil, yirminci yüzyılın en özgün filozoflarından birisidir. Weil, kısa yaşamında mistik düşünce, etik, sosyal adalet ve teoloji alanlarında derin izler bırakmıştır. Weil, felsefesinin temellerine Tanrı ve insan ilişkilerini yerleştirmiş bununla birlikte düşüncelerini Hristiyan mistisizmiyle şekillendirmiştir. Filozofun dini bakış açısı ve felsefesi sırasıyla; kültürel ve laik Yahudilik, agnostisizm Marksizm, Hristiyanlık ve mistisizm gibi farklı aşamalardan geçmiştir. Azizeliğe uygun bir hayat süren, kendi politik ve etik ideallerine göre yaşayan filozof her zaman dışlanmışın, fakirin ve işçinin yanında olmuştur. Lise öğrencilerine felsefe dersleri vermiş, İspanya İç Savaşı'nda anarşistlerin safında yer almış, Londra'da Özgür Fransa direnişine katılmış ve yurttaşlarına destek için ilerleyen veremine karşın açlık grevine girip vefat etmiştir. Weil, felsefesinde Tanrı ve insan ilişkisi sevgi, itaat, inayet, özgür irade ve mesafe kavramları temaları etrafında şekillenmiştir. Weil'e göre Tanrı, insanı özgür bırakabilmek adına kendini geri çekmiştir ve dünya üzerinde bir boşluk yaratmıştır. Bu boşluk, insanın Tanrı' ya duyduğu sevgi ve özlem ışığında doldurulabilmektedir. Tanrı sevgisi dolaylı ve örtük bir sevgidir. İnsan bu sevgiyi ancak Tanrı'nın inayeti yoluyla kavrayabilir. Tanrı, insana hem uzaktır hem de yakındır. Filozof bu durumu bir paradoks olarak ele almaktadır. Weil, insanın varoluşunu destekleyen acı, sevgi ve itaat kavramlarını mistik ve felsefî düzlemde incelemektedir. Weil için Tanrı'nın yarattıkları Tanrı'nın tam tersidir. Sonuç olarak Simone Weil için noksanlık ve ıstırap içinde olan insanı, adalet ve lütfun temsilcisi, sevgi ve hakikatin ana kaynağı olan Tanrı'ya götüren tek gerçek, sevgidir. İnsan özgürlüğünü yalnız Tanrı'ya teslimiyetle bulur, Tanrı'nın gizemiyle de O'nun varlığına ulaşır. Tanrı ile mesafesini yakınlaştırmak isteyen insan sevgi, dikkat ve hakikat eşiklerini geçmelidir. Tanrı'nın hem aşikâr hem de gizli olduğunu vurgulayan Weil, bu paradoksuyla Tanrı-insan ilişkisinin salt aklî izahtan ziyade manevi ve ruhsal bir sezgiyle anlamlandırılabileceğini ifade etmektedir.

Simone Adolphine Weil is one of the most original philosophers of the twentieth century. Weil left a deep mark in the fields of mystical thought, ethics, social justice and theology in her short life. Weil placed God and human relations at the foundations of her philosophy and shaped her thoughts with Christian mysticism. The philosopher's religious outlook and philosophy have passed through different stages, respectively, cultural and secular Judaism, agnosticism, Marxism, Christianity and mysticism. The philosopher, who lived a saintly life and lived according to his own political and ethical ideals, always stood by the marginalized, the poor and the workers. He taught philosophy to high school students, sided with the anarchists in the Spanish Civil War, joined the Free French resistance in London and died on a hunger strike in support of his fellow citizens despite his advancing tuberculosis. In Weil's philosophy, the relationship between God and man is shaped around the themes of love, justice, grace, free will and truth. According to Weil, God has withdrawn himself in order to free man and has created a void in the world. This void can be filled in the light of man's love and longing for God. The love of God is an indirect and implicit love. Man can only grasp this love through God's grace. God is both distant and close to man. The philosopher considers this situation as a paradox. Weil examines the concepts of pain, love and truth that support man's existence on a mystical and philosophical level. For Weil, God's creations are the exact opposite of God. In conclusion, for Simone Weil, the only truth that leads a person in deficiencies and suffering to God, the representative of justice and grace, the main source of love and truth, is love. Man finds his freedom only by surrendering to God, and through the mystery of God he reaches His existence. A person who wants to close his distance with God must pass the thresholds of love, attention and truth. Emphasizing that God is both obvious and hidden, Weil expresses with this paradox that the God-human relationship can be understood through a spiritual and spiritual intuition rather than a purely rational explanation.
