Özet
Öznenin kuruluşu, tarih boyunca felsefenin büyük sorularından biri olmuştur. Günümüzde özne tartışmaları önemini korumakla birlikte, teknoloji-özne ilişkisi bağlamında tartışmalar çoğalarak ve zenginleşerek devam etmektedir. Bu yüzden, öznenin kuruluşunu görsel kültür içerisinde, özellikle portre imajları üzerinden tartışmaya açmak istiyorum. Bu bağlamda ana sorunsalım, özne ve imajı arasındaki ilişkinin teknoloji bağlamında nasıl değişimler ve dönüşümler geçirdiğini irdelemek ve bunu yaparken modern öznenin kat ettiği mesafeyi tarihselleştirerek, günümüz öznesine ulaşmaya çalışmaktır. Bu amaçla Foucault'yen bir metodoloji ile ilerleyerek üç farklı düzenek (dispositif) üzerine kurulu üç dönem olan Kartezyen, Fotoğrafik ve Algoritmik perspektif arasından henüz erken gelişim aşamasında olan sonuncusunu; ontolojik, epistemolojik, estetik ve politik imkanları ve sınırlılıkları üzerinden ele alarak tartışmaya çalışıyorum. Çalışma boyunca sorunsalımı, toplumda etkili olmuş ilişkili görseller ile destekliyorum.

The constitution of the subject has been one of the major questions of philosophy throughout history. While discussions of the subject maintain their importance today, they continue to increase and enrich in the context of the technology-subject relationship. Therefore, I would like to open up the constitution of the subject for discussion within visual culture, specifically through portrait images. In this context, my main problem is to examine how the relationship between the subject and its image undergoes changes and transformations in the context of technology, and in doing so, to historicize the journey of the modern subject to reach the contemporary subject. To this end, by proceeding with a Foucauldian methodology, I try to discuss the last of the three periods based on three different mechanisms (dispositifs), namely Cartesian, Photographic and Algorithmic perspectives, which is still in its early development stage, by considering its ontological, epistemological, aesthetic and political possibilities and limitations. Throughout the study, I support my problematic with relevant visuals that have been influential in society.
