Özet
Triteizm, VI. yüzyılda ortaya çıkan ve ana akım tarafından heretik kabul edilen bir görüştür. Triteizm, tesliste üç ayrı tanrısal varlığın ikrarını içeren bir öğretidir. Triteizm düşüncesine göre teslisin üç hipostazı olan Baba, Oğul ve Kutsal Ruh birbirinden tözsel olarak farklı ve ayrı varlıklardır. Hıristiyanlık tarihinde miladi VI. ve XII. yüzyıllarda teslis hakkında dile getirdikleri fikirler sebebiyle triteist olmakla itham edilmiş teologlar bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada söz konusu akımın ön plana çıkan temsilcileri olan John Philoponus (490-570), Compiègneli Roscelin (1050-1120) ve Poitiersli Gilbert'in (1085-1154) hayatları, eserleri ve teolojik görüşleri; felsefenin ve erken dönem Kilise Babalarının otoritelerinin etkisinin hissedildiği arka plan, bu durumu hazırlayan sebep ve olaylar bağlamında incelenecektir.

Tritheism is a view that emerged in the sixth century and is considered heretical by mainstream Christianity. Tritheism is a doctrine that affirms three separate divine beings in the Trinity. According to Tritheism, the three hypostases of the Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, are essentially distinct and separate entities. In the history of Christianity, there are theologians who were accused of being triteists because of the ideas they expressed about the Trinity in the sixth and twelfth centuries AD. In this study, the lives, works, and theological views of John Philoponus (490-570), Roscelin of Compiègne (1050-1120), and Gilbert of Poitiers (1085-1154), the prominent representatives of this movement, will be analyzed in the context of the background in which the influence of philosophy and the authority of the early Church Fathers is felt, and the causes and events that prepared this situation.
