S. hortensis'in klasik formu %83,07 verimlilik sağlarken, nanoemülsifiye formu 6.810.000'den 1.200.000'e düşüşle %82,37'lik benzer bir başarı göstermiştir.

Purpose: Nosemosis, a prevalent bee disease caused by single-cell fungus of Nosema, poses significant challenges to beekeeping and agriculture that rely on pollination. Conventional treatment methodologies have exhibited limited efficacy and have given rise to environmental concerns, underscoring the necessity for innovative approaches. This study inquires the development and application of nanotechnology-based preparations to manage nosemosis. Method: The study examined the effects of nanoemulsions containing fumagillin and essential oil of Satureja hortensis on Apis mellifera colonies infected with Nosemosis, applying treatments to both experimental and control groups. A comprehensive suite of in vitro (fumagilin) and in vivo (nosemit) analyses were controlled to assess the antifungal influence, colony health and environmental impact of the treatments. Statistical analyses were conducted utilising SPSS software. These novel formulations employ nanocarriers for the targeted delivery of therapeutic agents, enhancing bioavailability and minimising off-target effects. Findings: In the nanoemulsified Fumagillin + Nosemide group, spore load decreased from 6,680,000 on day 0 to 38,000 on day 14, showing a high efficiency of 99.43%, which is almost equivalent to 99.53% in the classical formulation. The classical form of S. hortensis demonstrated an efficiency of 83.07%, while the nanoemulsified form exhibited a comparable efficacy of 82.37%, exhibiting a decline from 6,810,000 to 1,200,000. Intestinal colour changes were minimal in subjects treated with the nanoemulsion, and a decrease in sports load was observed earlier and more significantly on day 4. In the positive control group, the sports load increased from 4,610,000 to 5,820,000, and significant intestinal deterioration was observed. Results: Preliminary studies suggest that enhanced therapeutic outcomes and reduced environmental impact can be achieved. This work provides a thorough overview of the mechanisms, benefits, and challenges associated with nanotechnology interventions, outlining a roadmap for future research and application.
