Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırma öğretmenlere yönelik geliştirilen web tabanlı epilepsi eğitim programının öğretmenlerin bilgi, tutum ve öz yönetimlerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel tipte gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, Bilecik İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı dört ilköğretim okulunda öğrenim veren girişim grubunda n=54 ve kontrol grubunda n=54 olmak üzere toplam 108 öğretmen ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın kontrol grubuna rutin eğitim öğretim müfredatı uygulanırken; girişim grubuna 12 hafta boyunca epilepsiye yönelik web tabanlı eğitim programı uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri“Tanımlayıcı Bilgi Formu”,“Öğretmenlerin Epilepsiye Yönelik Bilgi ve Tutum Ölçeği”ve Öğretmenler için Epilepsi Öz Yönetim Ölçeği" kullanılarak, eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası 3. ve 6. aylarda toplanmıştır. Bu süreçlerde hem girişim hem de kontrol gurubundaki öğretmenlerin epilepsi bilgi, tutum ve öz yönetim puan ortalamaları kaydedilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde çok yönlü tekrarlı ölçümlerde varyans analizi, tek yönlü tekrarlı ölçümlerde varyans analizi, iki ortalama arasındaki farkın önemlilik testi ve Bonferroni.post.hoc.analizleri.kullanılmıştır. Anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 kabul edilmiştir. Girişim ve kontrol grubunun sosyo-demografik özellikleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark saptanmamıştır (p>0.05). Çalışma sonrasında girişim grubunda yer alan öğretmenlerin Epilepsi Bilgi Ölçeği, Epilepsi Tutum Ölçeği puan ortalamalarının kontrol grubundan yüksek olduğu ve gruplar arasındaki farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Yapılan ileri analizde girişim grubunun kendi içinde Epilepsi Bilgi Ölçeği ve Epilepsi Tutum Ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasındaki farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Girişim grubunda yer alan öğretmenlerin Epilepsi Öz Yönetim Ölçeği puan ortalamalarının kontrol grubundan yüksek olduğu ve gruplar arasındaki farkın da istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Yapılan ileri analizde hem girişim hem de kontrol grubunun kendi içinde Epilepsi Öz Yönetim Ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasındaki farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Öğretmenlere yönelik geliştirilen web tabanlı epilepsi eğitim programı, öğretmenlerin epilepsi bilgisinin arttırılmasında, epilepsiye yönelik olumlu bir tutum geliştirilmesinde ve epilepsi öz yönetimlerinin arttırılmasında etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT This study was conducted in a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group to examine the effect of a web-based epilepsy education program developed for teachers on teachers' knowledge, attitudes and self-management.The study was conducted with a total of 108 teachers, n=54 in the intervention group and n=54 in the control group, teaching in four primary schools affiliated to Bilecik Provincial Directorate of National Education. While routine education curriculum was applied to the control group, a web-based education program for epilepsy was applied to the intervention group for 12 weeks. The research data were collected at the 3rd and 6th months after the training using the“Descriptive Information Form”,“Knowledge And Attitudes Toward Epilepsy Among School Teachers Scale”and Epilepsy Self-Management Scale For Teacher". During these processes, the mean epilepsy knowledge, attitude and self-management scores of the teachers in both the experimental and control groups were recorded. In the evaluation of the data, multiple and one-way analysis of variance, significance test of the difference between two means and Bonferroni post hoc analysis were used. There was no statistically significant difference between the sociodemographic characteristics of the intervention and control groups (p>0.05).After the study, it was found that the mean scores of the Knowledge And Attitudes Toward Epilepsy Among School Teachers Scale of the teachers in the intervention group were higher than the control group and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (p<0.05).In the further analysis, it was found that the difference between the mean scores of the Knowledge And Attitudes Toward Epilepsy Among School Teachers Scale within the intervention group was statistically significant (p<0.05).It was found that the mean Epilepsy Self-Management Scale For Teacher scores of the teachers in the intervention group were higher than the control group and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (p<0.05).In the further analysis, it was found that the difference between the mean scores of the Epilepsy Self-Management Scale For Teacher in both the intervention and control groups was statistically significant (p<0.05).The web-based epilepsy education program developed for teachers was found to be effective in increasing teachers' epilepsy knowledge, developing a positive attitude towards epilepsy and increasing epilepsy self-management.
