Özet
Tarih boyunca insan ve insan bedeni farklı disiplinler tarafından yorumlanmıĢ, sınırlandırılmıĢ ve tanımlanmaya çalıĢılmıĢtır. Dahası beden, modern dönemde bilimsel ve hukuki söylemsel formasyonların merkezindedir. Kapitalist üretim iliĢkileri içerisinde beden, disipline edilen, yararlı kılınan kilit bir üretici güç haline getirilmeye çalıĢılır. Sosyal bilimler de beden ve bedenin toplumsal kurgulanıĢ ve algılanıĢ biçimiyle alakadar olmuĢtur. Beden konusunda akla ilk gelen sosyal bilimci Michel Foucault'dur. Ona göre beden toplumsal olanla Ģekillenir ve tahakküm biçimleri ile içselleĢtirilir. Tahakkümün kuĢatıcılığı, toplumsal gerçekliği toplumsal kurumlar aracılığıyla çeĢitli katmanlarda biyoiktidarı üretirken bedene iliĢkin anlam Ģemalarını Ģekillendirerek yeniden üretmektedir. Bu anlamda ideal bedenden uzaklaĢan, bir baĢka deyiĢle; doğurgan olmayan, güçlü olmayan, ―güzel‖ olmayan bedenlerin ya da ―eksik‖ bedenlerin toplum tarafından sorunlu bir kategori olarak konumlandırıldığını ortaya koyar. Engelli bireyler de bu bağlamda tarih boyunca dıĢlanmıĢ, ötekileĢtirilmiĢ ve hatta yaĢama haklarından mahrum bırakılmıĢlardır. Bu çalıĢma, söz konusu tarihsel arka plandan hareketle engelli bireylerin toplumsallaĢma sürecinde karĢılaĢtıkları deneyimlere odaklanmıĢtır. ÇalıĢmada aile, eğitim, din, siyaset ve kültürel kodların engelliliği nasıl yeniden ürettiği yüksek öğretime dahil olan engelli bireylerin deneyiminden hareketle ortaya konulmaya çalıĢılmıĢtır. Bu kapsamda söz konusu yeniden üretim süreci aktörün bedeninde cisimleĢirken bedene iliĢkin anlam Ģemalarını bir kısır döngü haline getiren Pierre Bourdieu tarafından tanımlanan ve özellikle eğitimle iliĢkilendirilen bir ―yeniden üretim‖ süreci Ģeklinde olabildiği gibi bedende cisimleĢen bu anlam Ģemalarının yeniden inĢası ile engellinin yaĢamında arzulanır bir dönüĢüme yol açan bir yeniden inĢa süreci Ģeklinde de gerçekleĢebilmektedir. Bu durum çalıĢma kapsamında temel bulgulardan biri olarak yerini almıĢtır. ÇalıĢma kapsamında nitel araĢtırma tekniklerinden faydalanılmıĢ ve çalıĢmaya gönüllü olarak katılan 19 engelli birey ile derinlemesine görüĢmeler yapılmıĢtır. AraĢtırmacının kendi öz deneyimiyle derinleĢen çalıĢmada elde edilen veriler sağlık, aile, eğitim, sosyal hayat, iĢ yaĢamı eksenlerinde analiz edilmiĢtir.

Throughout history, the human being and the human body have been interpreted, defined, and constrained by various disciplines. Moreover, in the modern era, the body occupies a central position within scientific and legal discursive formations and is turned into a key productive force that is disciplined and made useful within capitalist relations of production. For this reason, the social sciences have shown interest in the body and in the ways it is socially constructed and perceived. The first social scientist who comes to mind regarding the body is Michel Foucault. According to him, the body is shaped by the social and internalized through forms of domination. The encompassing nature of domination produces biopower through social institutions at various levels of social reality and, in doing so, shapes and reproduces the meaning schemes related to the body. In this sense, bodies that deviate from the ideal — in other words, bodies that are not fertile, not strong, not ―beautiful,‖ or are considered ―incomplete‖ — are positioned by society as problematic categories. Disabled individuals, in this context, have historically been marginalized, othered, and even deprived of their right to live. Based on this situation, this study focuses on the experiences of disabled individuals in the process of socialization. It examines how family, education, religion, politics, and cultural codes reproduce disability, based on the experiences of disabled individuals in higher education. In this context, the reproduction process in question can be in the form of a ―reproduction‖ process defined by Pierre Bourdieu, which turns the meaning schemes related to the body into a vicious circle while embodying them in the actor's body, and is particularly associated with education, or it can be in the form of a reconstruction process that leads to a desired transformation in the life of the disabled person through the reconstruction of these meaning schemes embodied in the body. This situation has taken its place as one of the basic findings within the scope of the study. For this purpose, qualitative research methods were employed, and in-depth interviews were conducted with 19 disabled individuals who voluntarily participated in the study. Enriched by the researcher's own personal experience, the data obtained were analyzed under the themes of ―health, family, education, social life, and work life.‖
