Özet
Mukâtil b. Süleymân'ın tefsiri genel kabule göre hicri ikinci asırdan günümüze ulaşmış ilk tam tefsirdir. O, ayetleri yorumlarken rivayet ve dirayet metodunu birlikte kullanmıştır. Tefsirinin asıl farklı yönü ise ayetlerin yorumunda zaman, mekân ve kişileri belirgin bir şekilde öne çıkarmasıdır. Kur'ân kıssalarında kısmen örnekleri görülen bu anlatım metodunu Mukâtil b. Süleymân'ın tefsirinin tamamında görmek mümkündür. Eserinin tamamını bağlam üzerine inşa eden müfessir ayetlerle bağlantılı çok sayıda özel isme yer vermekte ve nüzûl sebepleri üzerinde durmaktadır. Bu bağlamda hüküm ayetlerini dahi ilgili olduğu olaylar üzerinden açıklamaktadır. Olayların öznesi olan şahısları da yer ve tarih vererek adeta canlı bir anlatı halinde okuyucuya sunmaktadır. Şüphesiz kullanılan bu üslup ayetlerin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamak ve zihinlerde kalıcı olması bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Ancak müfessirin bütünlüğü yakalamak uğruna zaman zaman tarihi tutarsızlık içine düştüğü de gözlemlenmektedir. Zikrettiği isimler hakkında bilgi verirken şifahi anlatıları da konuya dâhil ettiği görülmektedir. Müfessirin ayetlerle ilişkilendirerek aktardığı kişi ve yer isimleri Kur'ân tarihine ışık tutan erken dönem kaynaklarından kabul edilebilir. Buradan yola çıkarak çalışmamızda Mukâtil b. Süleymân'ın İsrâ ve Kehf surelerinin tefsirinde zikrettiği bazı özel isimler tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular nüzûl sebebi, konu bağlamında verilen özel isimler ve yer isimleri olarak üç gurupta incelenmiştir. Araştırmamıza konu olan isimlerin, faydalandığımız tefsir eserlerinden karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Bu sonuca göre Mukâtil'in senetsiz zikrettiği isimlerin çoğunun bu kaynaklarda da yer aldığı görülmüştür.

Muqātil b. Sulaymān's tafsīr is generally accepted to be the first complete tafsīr to have survived from the second century of Hijri. He used the method of narration and direct narration together while interpreting the verses. The main distinctive aspect of his tafsir is his emphasis on time, place and people in the interpretation of the verses. It is possible to see this method of narration, which is partially exemplified in the Qur'anic parables, throughout Muqātil b. Sulaymān's tafsīr. The commentator, who builds his entire work on the context, includes many special names related to the verses and emphasizes the reasons for their occurrence. In this context, he explains even the verses of judgment through the events they are related to. He also presents the people who are the subjects of the events to the reader as a living narrative by giving place and date. Undoubtedly, this style is important in terms of contributing to the understanding of the verses and making them permanent in the minds. However, it is also observed that the commentator occasionally falls into historical inconsistency for the sake of integrity. While giving information about the names he mentions, it is seen that he also includes oral narratives in the subject. The names of people and places that the commentator relates to the verses can be considered as early sources that shed light on the history of the Qur'an. Based on this, in our study, some of the proper names mentioned by Muqātil b. Suleymān in his exegesis of Surahs al-Isrā and al-Kahf have been identified. The findings were analyzed in three groups: the reason for the occurrence, proper names given in the context of the subject, and place names. The names that are the subject of our research were compared with the tafsir works we used. According to this result, it was seen that most of the names mentioned by Muqātil without a script were also included in these sources.
