Özet
Bu çalışmada Türk sinemasının önde gelen yönetmenlerinden Halit Refiğ'in sinema dünyasının şekillenmesinde oldukça etkili olan göç olgusu Gurbet Kuşları ve Bir Türk'e Gönül Verdim filmleri üzerinden incelenecektir. Türkiye tarih boyunca göç hareketlerinin merkezinde yer alan coğrafyalardan birisidir. Bu sebeple Türkiye'deki siyasal, sosyal ve ekonomik gelişmelerde göç ve göçmenlik her zaman belirleyici gündemler arasında yer almıştır. Halit Refiğ'in“Ulusal Sinema”olarak tanımladığı sinema anlayışı Türkiye'nin sosyal ve siyasal gelişmelerinden hareketle inşa edilen bir perspektifi bünyesinde taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda Refiğ, Türkiye'nin modernleşme sürecinin doğal sonuçlarından birisi olan köyden kente göç temasını Gurbet Kuşları filmiyle incelemiştir. Gurbet Kuşları taşradan İstanbul'a gelen bir ailenin yaşadığı kimlik sorunları ve hayatta kalma mücadelesinin mercek altına alındığı iç göç temasının işlendiği ilk filmlerden birisidir. Bir Türk'e Gönül Verdim filminde ise Refiğ, göç olgusunu farklı bir veçheden inceleyerek Ulusal Sinema anlatısını çerçevesinde tersine göç temasını işlemiştir. Almanya'dan Türkiye'ye gelen bir kadının Türkiye'de yaşadıklarına odaklanan film de göç ve göçmenlik bağlamında Türkiye'nin sosyal yapısı ve Anadolu kültürü betimlenmiştir. Halit Refiğ sinemasında önemli yapımlar arasında yer alan bu iki film aynı zamanda Türk sinemasında göç anlatısının erken dönem örnekleri arasındadır.

In this study, the phenomenon of migration and it's significant impact on the shaping of the cinematic style of Halit Refiğ, one of the leading directors of Turkish cinema, will be examined based on his films, Gurbet Kuşları (Birds of Exile) and Bir Türk'e Gönül Verdim (I Lost My Heart to a Turk). Türkiye has been one of the countries that has been caught in the middle of migration movements throughout history due to it's geographic location. For this reason, migration and immigration have always been among the determining agendas in political, social and economic developments in Türkiye. The concept of cinema that Halit Refiğ defines as“National Cinema”carries a perspective built on the social and political developments of Türkiye. In this context, with Gurbet Kuşları, Refiğ examined the theme of migration from villages to cities, which is one of the natural results of Türkiye's modernization process. Gurbet Kuşları is one of the first films to address the theme of domestic migration, examining the identity issues and struggle for survival experienced by a family that migrates from the countryside to Istanbul. In his film“Bir Türk'e Gönül Verdim”, Refiğ examined the concept of migration from a different perspective and dealt with the theme of reverse migration within the framework of his National Cinema narrative. Focusing on the experiences of a woman who came to Türkiye from Germany, the film depicted Türkiye's social structure and Anatolian culture in the context of migration and immigration. Among the important productions in Halit Refiğ's cinema, these two films are also among the early examples of the migration narrative in Turkish cinema.
