Özet
Bu çalışmada eğitimin insana dair bir olgu olduğu üzerinde durularak öncelikle 'insan nedir?', insanı anlamak için de 'ruh nedir?', soruları ile ruhun anlamı ve işlevi ele alınacak, devamında ise; insan için eğitimin rolü çözümlenecektir. Aristoteles'e göre bilgi ve bilim ruhun etkinliğidir. Eğitimin işlevi kendini bu noktada gösterecektir. Aristoteles'in 'etkin insanı'nı anlamak için ise energeia, entelekheia kavramları ışığında ilerlenecektir. Yine Aristoeles'in 'yaşamak' ve 'iyi yaşamak' hakkındaki görüşleri ışığında iyi yaşam irdelenerek 'eudaimonia' kavramı mutluluğu anlamada yön verecek kavram olacaktır. Diğer taraftan realist bir düşünür olan Aristoteles'in, insanın dünyayla ve doğayla olan ilişkisinin eğitim yolu ile nasıl ele aldığı incelenerek alternatif eğitim anlayışının kendisine, Montessori, Waldorf ve Reggio Emillia okullarının eğitim anlayışlarına değinilerek felsefi zeminde Aristotelesçi bir değerlendirme yapılacaktır.

In this study, emphasis will be placed on the idea that education is a phenomenon pertaining to the human being. Accordingly, the questions“What is the human being?”and, in order to understand the human,“What is the soul?”will be addressed, focusing on the meaning and function of the soul. Following this, the role of education for the human being will be examined. According to Aristotle, knowledge and science are activities of the soul. It is at this point that the function of education reveals itself. In order to understand Aristotle's notion of the“active human being,”the concepts of energeia and entelecheia will serve as guiding principles. Furthermore, based on Aristotle's views on“living”and“living well,”the concept of eudaimonia will be explored as a key notion in understanding happiness and the good life. On the other hand, as a realist thinker, Aristotle's perspective on how the human being's relationship with the world and nature is addressed through education will also be examined. In this context, an Aristotelian evaluation will be made on a philosophical basis by referencing alternative educational approaches, specifically those of the Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia schools.
