Her iki denemede, kontrol grupları mısır-soya küspesi esasına dayalı hazırlanan rasyonlarla beslenmişlerdir. Birinci denemede, diğer dört grup %10, 20, 30 ve 40 tritikale içeren rasyonlann birisiyle beslenmiştir. İkinci denemede kalan dört grup sırasıyla, yegane tahıl kaynağı olarak tritikale içeren enzim ve zinc bacitracin eklenmemiş (T), enzim eklenen (T+E), zinc bacitracin eklenen (T+ZnB) ve enzim+zinc bacitracin eklenen (T+E+ZnB) rasyonlarla beslenmişlerdir. Birinci denemede, canlı ağırlık kazancı mısırın yerine tritikale ikame edilmesiyle etkilenmemiştir. Bununla beraber, %20 tritikale içeren rasyonla beslenen grubun yem tüketimi, %10 tritikale içeren rasyonla beslenen grubunkinden yüksek bulunmuştur (P<0.05). Kontrol grubunun yemden yararlanması (canlı ağırlık kazancı/yem tüketimi), %40 tritikale içeren rasyonla beslenen grubunkinden daha iyi olmuştur (P<0.05). Kontrol ve %20 tritikale içeren rasyonlarla beslenen etlik piliçlerin karkas randımanı, %40 tritikale içeren rasyonla beslenenlerinkinden daha yüksek olmuştur. Kalp, karaciğer, taşlık, pankreas ve abdominal yağ yüzdesi (g/100 g canlı ağırlık), rasyonlarla etkijenmemiştir.İkinci denemede, kontrol ve T+ZnB rasyonlanyla beslenen gruplar, diğer gruplardan daha fazla ağırlık kazancı göstermişlerdir (P<0.05). Gruplar arasındaki yem tüketimi farksız bulunmuştur. Bununla beraber, T+ZnB içeren rasyonla beslenen grubun yemden yararlanması, T ve T+E+ZnB içeren rasyonlarla beslenen gruplannkinden daha iyi (PO.05), fakat kontrol rasyonuyla beslenen grubunkinden kötü bulunmuştur. Karkas, kalp, taşlık, pankreas, abdominal yağ yüzdesi ile ince bağırsak ve kalın bağırsak uzunluğu (cm/100 g canlı ağırlık) rasyonlarla etkilenmemiştir. T içeren rasyonla beslenen grubun kör bağırsak uzunluğu, kontrol rasyonuyla beslenen grubunkinden daha fazla bulunmuştur (PO.05). Kontrol grubunun duodenum pH'sı, T+E+ZnB içeren rasyonla beslenen grubunkinden yüksek bulunmuştur (PO.05). Her iki denemede de rasyonlarla dışkı kuru madde içeriği etkilenmemiştir. Sonuç olarak, tritikalenin etlik piliç rasyonlannda %30 düzeyine kadar kullanılabileceği, fakat kontrol grubu ve diğer gruplar arasında yemden yararlanmadaki önemli farlılıklar nedeniyle, tritikalenin mısırın tamamı yerine kullanılamayacağı görülmüştür. Bununla beraber, canlı ağırlık kazancı dikkate alındığında, ZnB ilavesiyle bu durum mümkün görülmektedir.

Özet (Çeviri)

Nutritional value of triticale (Tathcak 97) for broiler chicks was examined in two experiments. Eight day old male Ross broiler chicks were housed individually until 42 and 35 days old for the first and the second experiment, respectively. There were 5 groups in each experiments and 14 chicks in each groups. Control groups were fed with a diet formulated to be based on corn-soybean meal in each experiments. In the first experiment, the other four groups were allowed to feed with one of the diets containing 10, 20, 30 and 40% triticale. In the second experiment, each of the other four groups was fed with a diet that contained triticale as the only cereal source, but added no enzyme or zinc bacitracin (T), enzyme (1 g/kg diet) (T+E), zinc bacitracin (50 ppm) (T+ZnB) or enzyme+ zinc bacitracin (T+E+ZnB), respectively. In the first experiment, live weight gain were not affected by substituting of the corn for triticale. However, feed intake of the group fed with the diet containing 20% triticale was higher (PO.05) than the group fed with the diet containing 10% triticale. Feed efficiency (live weight gain/feed intake) of the control group was better (P<0.05) than the group fed with the diet containing 40% triticale. Carcass yield of the broilers fed with control diet and the diet containing 20% triticale diets were more higher than the broilers fed with the diet containing 40% triticale (P<0.05). Percentage of heart, liver, gizzard, pancreas and abdominal fat (g/100 g live weight) were not affected by the diets.IV In the second experiment, the groups fed with control diet and the diet containing T+ZnB showed higher weight gain (P<0.05) than the other groups. Feed intake were not significantly different amoung the groups. Although, the feed efficiency in group fed with the diet containing T+ZnB was found better (PO.05) than the groups fed with the diet containing T and T+E+ZnB, but it was found worse than the group fed with control diet. Percentage of carcass, heart, liver, gizzard, pancreas, abdominal fat and the length of the small intestine and large intestine (cm/100 g live weight) were not affected by the diets. Cecum length of the group fed with the diet containing T were longer than the group fed with control diet. Duodenum pH of control group was higher than the group fed with the diet containing T+E+ZnB. Dry matter content of excreta were not affected by the diets in both of the experiments. Consequently, it was established that triticale could be used in broiler diets up to 30% level in broiler diets but triticale can not be replaced instead of corn because of the significant differences in feed efficiency between the control group and the other groups. However from the point of live weigth gain, it is possible to use the triticale by adding ZnB.
