Özet
Kur'an'ı Kerîm, 23 yıllık nüzul sürecinde mesajlarını belâgî açıdan çeşitli üsluplarla muhataplarına iletmiştir. Kur'an'ın sıkça başvurduğu üsluplardan biri de mecazî kullanımlardır. Mecaz-ı mürsel sanatı ise bu mecazî kullanımlar arasında önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Dolayısıyla mecaz-ı mürsel içeren âyetlerin doğru anlaşılması gerek orijinal Arapça metninden gerekse de çevirilerinden okuyanlar nezdinde Kur'an'ın doğru anlaşılmasına katkı sağlayacaktır. Ancak Arapça ve Türkçenin farklı semantik ve yapısal özelliklere sahip birer dil olmaları mecaz-ı mürsel sanatına dair örneklerin Türkçe Kur'an meallerine yansıtılmasında birtakım eksikliklere yol açmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise söz konusu eksikliklerin tespit edilip bunlara dair çözüm önerilerinin sunulması hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde“meal”ve“tercüme”gibi temel kavramlar ele alınarak çalışmanın teorik çerçevesi oluşturulmuştur. İkinci bölümde Arap dilinde mecaz-ı mürselin alakaları ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise mecaz-ı mürsel sanatının meallere yansıması seçili âyetlere üzerinden incelenmiş; çeviri kritiği yapılmış, meal önerileri sunulmuş ve bu sanatın çevirisine dair metot önerileri sunulmuştur. Çalışmamız bu yönüyle hem meal hazırlayıcılarına hem de çeviri eleştirisi yapacak olanlara mecaz-ı mürselin çevirisine dair önemli öneriler sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.

The Quran, during its 23-year period of revelation, conveyed its messages to its audience through various literary styles. One of the styles frequently employed in the Quran is figurative language. Among these figurative usages, the rhetorical device known as“metonymy”is significant. Therefore, accurately understanding verses containing metonymy contributes to properly comprehending the Quran for both readers of its original Arabic text and its interpretations. However, the differences in semantic and structural features between Arabic and Turkish languages lead to certainshortcomings in reflecting examples of metonymy in Turkish interpretations of the Quran. This study aims to identify these shortcomings and propose solutions to address them. Our study consists of three sections. In the first section, fundamental concepts such as“interpretation”and“translation”are discussed to establish the study's theoretical framework. The second section examines the relationships of metonymy in the Arabic language. In the third section, the reflection of metonymy in interpretations is analyzed through selected verses; translation critiques are conducted, alternative renderings are proposed, and methodological suggestions for translating this rhetorical device are presented. After the completion of the sections, a table was created regarding the metonymies in the Quran. In this way, our study aims to offer valuable insights into the translation of metonymy to both interpretation practitioners and translation critics.
