Özet
Araştırma, ilkokul 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin branş öğretmeni, sınıf öğretmeni ve farklı değişkenlere göre Beden Eğitimi ve Oyun dersine ilişkin tutumlarını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya İstanbul ilinin Başakşehir ilçesinde öğrenim gören 235'i kız ve 213'ü erkek öğrenci olmak üzere toplamda 448 öğrenci katılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ön test, son test deney ve kontrol gruplu deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Öğrenci tutumlarını ölçmek için Varol ve ark (2016) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan İlköğretim Beden Eğitimi Dersi Tutum Ölçeği (İBEDTÖ) kullanılmıştır. 8'i olumlu ve 7'si olumsuz, toplamda 15 maddeden oluşan bu ölçek ile, duyuşsal ve bilişsel olmak üzere iki alt boyut incelemiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre cinsiyet, yaş, okulda spor yapmak için yeterli alanın bulunması ve ailede sporcu olması açısından istatiksel olarak anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Branş öğretmenlerinin, öğrencilerin derse yönelik tutumlarını duyuşsal boyutta iyileştirdiği, sınıf öğretmenlerinin ise bilişsel boyutta tutumlarının iyileştirilmesine katkıda bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin toplam tutumlarında da anlamlı bir fark gözlemlenmiştir. Bu durum, genel olarak beden eğitimi dersine yönelik tutumların olumlu yönde geliştiğini ve bu gelişimin öğretmen türüne göre farklılık göstermekle birlikte genel düzeyde etkili olduğunu göstermektedir. Öğrenciler, ders süreci boyunca hem bilgi düzeylerinde hem de duygusal yönelimlerinde önemli kazanımlar elde etmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, literatür çerçevesinde tartışılmış ve araştırma amacı doğrultusunda öneriler sunulmuştur.

The research was conducted to examine the attitudes of 4th-grade primary school students towards Physical Education and Games lessons, based on variables such as subject teachers, classroom teachers, and other factors. A total of 448 students participated in the study, consisting of 235 girls and 213 boys, all attending schools in the Başakşehir district of Istanbul. An experimental method with pre-test and post-test control and experimental groups was used in this study. To measure student attitudes, the Primary School Physical Education Course Attitude Scale (İBEDTÖ), adapted into Turkish by Varol et al. (2016), was used. This scale consists of 15 items, 8 positive and 7 negative, and examines two subdimensions: affective and cognitive. According to the research findings, statistically significant differences were found in terms of gender, age, the availability of adequate space for sports at school, and having a family member involved in sports. It was determined that subject teachers improved students' attitudes towards the class in the affective dimension, while classroom teachers contributed to the improvement of attitudes in the cognitive dimension. A significant difference was observed in the overall attitudes of the students. This indicates that, in general, attitudes toward physical education classes have improved positively, and although this improvement varies depending on the type of teacher, it has been effective overall. Throughout the course, students achieved significant gains both in their level of knowledge and in their emotional orientation. The research findings were discussed within the framework of relevant literature, and recommendations were provided in line with the research objectives.
