Özet
Türk müziği, yüzyıllar boyunca bulunduğu coğrafyalarda farklı kültürlerin, toplulukların ve devletlerin etkisiyle gelişim göstermiş; bütün tür ve biçimleriyle günümüze kadar ulaşan zengin bir kültürel mirası temsil etmektedir. Şüphesiz bu mirasın en önemli dönüm noktalarından biri, Mehterhanenin kapatılarak yerine Mûzikâ-yı Hümâyunun kurulmasıdır. Bu çalışmada, geçmişten günümüze Türk askeri müziği eğitim kurumlarının devamı niteliği taşıyan ve Cumhuriyet'le birlikte belirli aşamalardan geçen, günümüz askeri müzik eğitim kurumu MSÜ Bando Astsubay Meslek Yüksekokulu programında yer alan ve öğretimi yapılan çalgıların neler olduğu, yine mevcut programda Türk müziğiyle ilgili hangi derslerin yer aldığı, Türk müziği repertuvarına ait hangi eserlerin kullanıldığı gibi durumların araştırılması ve tespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma, Türk müzik kültürünün tarihsel gelişim sürecinde geçirdiği değişimde kırılma noktası olarak öne çıkan askeri bandoların oluşumunun ve bu bandolara personel yetiştiren MSÜ Bando Astsubay Meslek Yüksekokulu'nda kullanılan çalgıların öğretiminde, Türk müziği repertuvarının ne derecede kullanıldığının ortaya koyulması bakımından önemlidir. Araştırma kapsamında, MSÜ Bando Astsubay Meslek Yüksekokulu programı ele alınmış ve çalgı öğretiminde kullanılan repertuvar, okulda görev yapan 29 öğretim elemanına uygulanan yarı yapılandırılmış anket yöntemiyle elde edilmiş, elde edilen veriler MAXQDA 24 nitel analiz programıyla analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Türk müziği repertuvarına ait eserlerin çalgı öğretiminde kullanılmasının; öğrencilerde müzik eğitiminde çeşitlilik, kültürel farkındalık ve aidiyet duygusu, icra yeteneği, müzik bilinci, toplumsal bütünleşme ve akademik gelişim alanlarında olumlu etkiler oluşturduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.

Turkish music has developed over the centuries under the influence of different cultures, communities, and states in the regions where it has flourished; it represents a rich cultural heritage that has survived to the present day in all its forms and genres. Undoubtedly, one of the most important turning points in this heritage was the closure of the Mehterhane and its replacement by the Mûzikâ-yı Hümâyun. This study aims to investigate and determine which instruments are included in the curriculum of the current military music education institution Use of Turkish Music Repertoire in Instrumental Music Courses in the MSÜ Band Non-Commissioned Officer Vocational School, which is a continuation of Turkish military music education institutions from the past to the present and has undergone certain stages with the Republic, and which are taught, which courses related to Turkish music are included in the current curriculum program, and which pieces from the Turkish music repertoire are used. The research is important in terms of revealing the extent to which the Turkish music repertoire is used in the teaching of instruments used at the MSÜ Band Non-Commissioned Officer Vocational School, which trains personnel for military bands that stand out as a turning point in the historical development of Turkish music culture. Within the scope of the research, the curriculum of the MSÜ Band Non-Commissioned Officer Vocational School was examined, and the repertoire used in instrument teaching was obtained through a semi-structured questionnaire administered to 29 teaching staff members at the school. The data obtained were analyzed and interpreted using the MAXQDA 24 qualitative analysis program. The research findings indicate that the use of works from the Turkish music repertoire in instrumental education has positive effects on students in terms of diversity in music education, cultural awareness and sense of belonging, performance skills, musical awareness, social integration, and academic development.
