Özet
Yazma eser koleksiyonları, İslâm medeniyetinin ilmî, estetik ve kültürel birikimini günümüze taşıyan en önemli miraslardan biridir. Geçmişte camii, medrese ve vakıf kütüphanelerinde muhafaza edilen yazma eserler, yalnızca dinî ve ilmî bilgilerin aktarıldığı metinler olmanın ötesinde, dönemin düşünce yapısını, estetik anlayışını ve kültürel değerlerini yansıtan özgün sanat ürünleridir. Günümüzde ise söz konusu yazmalar, kütüphanelerin modern koruma ve dijitalleştirme yöntemleriyle geleceğe taşınmakta; böylece geçmişin ilmî, sanatsal ve entelektüel mirası, araştırmalar aracılığıyla yeniden değerlendirilmektedir. Bu çalışma, Erzurum İl Müftülüğü Kütüphanesinde yer alan ve daha önce kataloglanmamış 431 yazma eserin hat, tezhip ve cilt sanatları açısından değerlendirilmesini amaçlamakta; söz konusu eserleri sanat tarihi disiplini çerçevesinde teknik, estetik ve dönemsel bakımdan analiz etmektedir. Araştırma kapsamında betimleyici analiz, karşılaştırmalı değerlendirme ve dönem tespiti gibi yöntemler kullanılmış; yazı türleri, istif yapıları, harf anatomileri, motifler, renk ve teknik uygulamalar ile cilt tezyînatları detaylı biçimde incelenmiştir. İncelemeye alınan eserlerin çoğunluğunu Kur'an-ı Kerim, tefsir, hadis, fıkıh ve dilbilgisi gibi temel İslâmî ilimlere ait metinler oluşturmakla birlikte; coğrafya ve astronomi gibi bilimsel alanlara ait yazmalar da çalışmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Ayrıca tezyînatlı eserlerden seçilen bazı örnekler dikkate alınarak, bu eserlerin farklı kütüphanelerde bulunan eserlerle benzerlikleri değerlendirilmiştir. Böylece daha önce katalog dışı kalmış bir koleksiyonun sanat tarihi literatürüne kazandırılması ve kitap sanatı araştırmalarına özgün bir katkı sunulması hedeflenmiştir.

Manuscript collections are among the most important heritages that carry the scientific, aesthetic, and cultural accumulation of Islamic civilization to the present day. Manuscripts that were preserved in mosques, madrasas, and waqf libraries in the past are not merely texts through which religious and scholarly knowledge was transmitted; they are also original works of art reflecting the intellectual structure, aesthetic understanding, and cultural values of their period. Today, these manuscripts are preserved for the future through modern conservation and digitization methods of libraries, allowing the scientific, artistic, and intellectual heritage of the past to be re-evaluated through research. This study aims to examine 431 manuscripts housed in the Erzurum Provincial Mufti's Office Library previously uncatalogued in terms of their calligraphy, illumination, and binding features, and to analyze these works technically, aesthetically, and chronologically within the discipline of art history. The research employs methods such as descriptive analysis, comparative evaluation, and period identification; the manuscripts were examined in detail with regard to script types, composition structures, letter anatomies, motifs, color and technical applications, as well as binding ornamentation. While the majority of the examined works consist of texts belonging to core Islamic sciences such as the Qur'an, tafsir, hadith, fiqh, and grammar, manuscripts related to scientific fields such as geography and astronomy were also included in the study. Additionally, by considering selected examples from the illuminated works, similarities between these manuscripts and those found in other libraries were assessed. In this way, the study aims to introduce a previously uncatalogued collection into the art history literature and to provide a new contribution to research on book arts.
