Özet
Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'in tefsir faaliyetinde ilk dönemlerden itibaren nüzûl ortamı ve Hz. Peygamberin sîreti âyetlerin doğru anlaşılması için bir araç olarak kullanılagelmiştir. Ancak nüzûl sıralamasını esas alarak, siyerin rehberliğinde tefsir edilmesi modern dönemde ortaya çıkmış ve bu metotla birçok tefsir kaleme alınmıştır. Bu tercihin temel sebebi, sûrelerin tefsirinde nüzûl sürecinin kronolojik seyrini takip ederek, âyetlerin iniş bağlamı ile anlamı arasındaki irtibatı ortaya koymaktır. Bu çalışmada, nüzûl-siret eksenli tefsir yaklaşımının ihtilaflı âyetlerin anlaşılmasında nesnel bir yoruma ulaşıp ulaşmadığı; yöntemin imkânları ve sınırlılıkları, bu yaklaşımı benimseyen Muhammed İzzet Derveze (ö. 1984) ve Muhammed Âbid Câbirî (ö. 2010) tefsirleri üzerinden incelenmiştir. Tezimizin giriş bölümünde nüzûl ve sîretin tarihsel arka planına yer verilerek konuya dair teorik bir zemin oluşturulmuştur. Birinci bölümde; Derveze ve Câbirî'nin hayatları, tefsirlerinin özellikleri ve sûrelerin kronolojik tespitleri ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde; müelliflerin nüzûl ve sîretle irtibatlı ulûmü'l-Kur'ân meselelerine bakış açıları ve tefsirlerini kaleme alırken dikkate aldıkları yöntemsel parametreler ortaya konmuştur. Son bölümde ise ihtilaflı âyetler üzerinden karşılaştırmalı analiz yöntemi kullanılarak, müelliflerin bu âyetlere getirdikleri yorumlar“üzerinde ittifak edilen âyetler”ve“üzerinde ihtilaf edilen âyetler”şeklinde kategorize edilmiştir

Since the earliest periods of Qur'ānic exegesis, both the context of revelation (asbāb al-nuzūl) and the Prophet's sīrah have been utilized as essential tools for correctly understanding the verses. However, the method of interpreting the Qur'ān on the basis of the chronological order of revelation, guided by the sīrah, emerged in the modern era and has led to the production of various exegetical works. The primary motivation behind this approach is to follow the chronological trajectory of the revelation process in the interpretation of sūrahs, thereby highlighting the correlation between the circumstances of revelation and the intended meaning of the verses. This study investigates whether the nuzūl–sīrah-oriented exegetical method achieves an objective interpretation in the understanding of contested verses, as well as its methodological possibilities and limitations. The analysis is carried out through the exegetical works of al-Darwazah and al-Jābirī, two prominent scholars who adopted this approach. The introduction provides the historical background of nuzūl and sīrah, thereby laying the theoretical foundation of the research. The first chapter discusses the biographies of al-Darwazah and al-Jābirī, the distinctive features of their tafsīrs, and their determinations of the chronological order of sūrahs. The second chapter explores their perspectives on Qur'ānic sciences related to nuzūl and sīrah, as well as the methodological parameters they considered in the process of composing their tafsīrs. Finally, the third chapter applies a comparative analytical framework to disputed verses, categorizing the authors' interpretations into two groups:“verses on which there is consensus”and“verses subject to disagreement.”
