Özet
Bu araştırmada, özel okullarda beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik aile beklentilerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmaya, kolayda örneklem yöntemiyle seçilmiş 2024–2025 eğitim öğretim yılında Bingöl İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü Özel Hürriyet Kolejin'de öğrenimine devam eden öğrenci velilerinden 365 kişi katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılacak olan kişiler gönüllük esasına dayalı olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan bireylerin sosyo-demografik bilgilerinin yanı sıra "Aile Beklenti Ölçeği'' veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler istatistik paket programı SPSS.22 programı aracılığıyla analiz edilip sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. Demografik bilgiler ve diğer sorulara ait fikir edinilmesini sağlamak amacıyla aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, frekans ve yüzde dağılımlarını içeren tanımlayıcı istatistikler, katılımcıların aile beklenti ve beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik memnuniyet düzeyi değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmek amacıyla korelasyon testi, aile beklentisi ile tesis ve spor malzeme memnuniyeti düzeylerinin bazı demografik değişkenlerle ilişkisini tespit etmek amacıyla Mann Whitney-U ve Kruskal Wallis Testi testleri ile Bağımsız Örneklem T (İndependent Sample T) ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (One Way Anova) testleri uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlar %95 güven aralığında, anlamlılık p<0.05 düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; özel okullarda okuyan öğrenci velilerinin beden eğitimi spor dersine karşı aile beklentilerinin incelendiği bu araştırmada, anne eğitim durumu, bu okulu tercih ederken fiziki açıdan (spor tesisleri) yeterlilik düzeyi sizin için önemli miydi?, ailede düzenli egzersiz yapan kimse var mı? değişkenlerinde anlamlı farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiş olup; çocuk sayısı, baba eğitim durumu, aile gelir düzeyi ve bu okulu tercih ederken spor faaliyetlerine verilen önem öncelikleriniz arasında mıydı? Değişkenlerinde ise anlamlı herhangi bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this research aims to examine family expectations regarding physical education and sports lessons in private schools. This study involved 365 parents of students enrolled at Özel Hürriyet Koleji Bingöl Provincial Directorate of National Education during the 2024–2025 academic year, selected using a convenience sampling method. Participants were selected on a voluntary basis. In addition to the socio-demographic information of the participants, the 'Family Expectation Scale' was used as a data collection tool. The data obtained were analysed using the statistical package programme SPSS.22, and the results were interpreted. Descriptive statistics, including arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage distribution, were used to obtain demographic information and insights into other group questions. A correlation test was used to determine the relationship between participants' family expectations and their satisfaction levels with physical education and sports classes. The Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis T-tests, along with the Independent Sample T-test and One-Way ANOVA test, were applied to determine the relationship between family expectations and satisfaction levels with facilities and sports equipment with certain demographic variables. The results were evaluated at a 95% confidence interval and a significance level of p<0.05. In conclusion, this study examined the family expectations of parents whose children attend private schools regarding physical education and sports classes. It found significant differences in variables such as the mother's educational status, whether the physical adequacy (sports facilities) of the school was important when choosing it, Was there anyone in the family who exercised regularly? No significant differences were found in these variables. However, no significant differences were found in the variables of number of children, father's educational status, family income level, and whether the importance given to sports activities was among your priorities when choosing this school.
